Jury in Finland gave 12 points to Sweden. Public gave the 12 to Portugal.
Lost a planet Master Obi Wan has. How embarrassing.

I feel like I'm dreaming still, can you believe one of my biggest dreams just happened??? Never in a million years I would say Portugal would ever win, I even had doubts if we would ever make it to the final again. Everything is magical, I just can't believe my country won Eurovision with a new record

And I'm not going to miss this opportunity, Lisbon 2018 I'm going to watch it freaking live!! :o ;D

Yeah. Finland won 11 years ago, and I still can't fully believe it. Sadly I couldn't go see it live in Helsinki. Lucky for me I'll still probably get at least 1 chance to do that thanks to Sweden. I did however go to the big party that was arranged in Helsinki. The square was packed. I think there were about 10.000 people or maybe even more. For Finland that's a lot. And even president Tarja Halonen made an appearance. I'll never forget that gig.

I'm also very happy, that Portugal won with a very simple and beautiful song (albeit still being a bit boring IMHO) and not with some gimmicky performance. In my opinion Finland didn't really deserve to win when we did. But I'm still happy, that my country won ESC. And also Finland had the record in points until Alexander Rybak broke that record for Norway.

Here's a tribute to the winner from Alexander Rybak.

Post-contest, and is bad news...

Dutch trio O'G3NE announced earlier this Wednesday, July 12, 2017, that their mother Isolde passed away from a rare form of bone cancer at the age of 47.

Below, you'll find their performance in Kiev from 2 months ago...
