It's not really common in Uruguay, but in Mexico (and I don't know if it's used somewhere else) it is when you do something with great intensity

Here in Spain is also used like something with great intensity. For example "Te quiero a rabiar" could be translated as "I love you as hell". ;)

An amazing find from mattbb on Behind Big Brother - the 2012 Australian titles which never were.   Far, far, far better than what they ultimately used.

Okay, I'm a very huge fan of the BBAu and discovering this video, I'm really frustrated right now.  :'( :'(  WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY DIDN'T THEY USE THIS!!!!???? THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE OPENING THEY USED AND IT MAKED THE HOUSEMATES LOOKED MORE INTERESTING. Because I've heard to some foreign people that that season was boring. No, I don't think it is. BUT I'm so disappointed they didn't use this.

I think the style of this is really nice! Except they have a guy called Anthony there instead of Ray - maybe that's the reason it wasn't aired?

Maybe Anthony was replaced by Ray even before the show aired.

The exec producer blamed the spelling mistakes but in reality a title sequence like this is made in such a way that HMs can be added/removed and text easily enough replaced, so I suspect it was just a case that Nine didn't like them.
