I think it will be hard to call which three will be nominated by the public. If it was a vote to save it would be pretty obvious Netta would be nominate, but as it's a vote to nominated I'm leaning towards Ben and Janica and someone else.

It is a vote to save this time. The three with the least amount of votes get nominated for eviction.

Oh right, thanks.  :)

Then I think Netta is definitely in danger.

Today the public began to vote to save their favourite housemate. The three with the least votes will be nominated.

The current bottom three are Suvi, Tanja and Netta.

Rules for eviction voting: if 2 HMs have the same amount of votes, the one with least votes will decide who of the two will be evicted. If this HM refuses to do so, the HM with least amount of public votes will be evicted. If one or more HMs refuses to vote, they will be automatically up for eviction next week. Furthermore, the votes given by the HMs will be invalidated and again the HM with least amount of public votes will be evicted.

It's not looking good for Netta. She has never been out of the bottom 3 and I think the Housemates will most likely vote for her.

Yeah. I'd say it would be one of the biggest upsets ever, if Netta isn't evicted.

Tanja did say, she screwed up the vote. Too late though, the damage was already done.

BTW...Tanja's reasoning for voting Rami was, that he doesn't have any cigarettes. She probably thought everyone else would vote for Netta. And as said earlier, immadiately after giving her reasoning Tanja said she made a mistake.

Rami was more interesting than Netta. But I guess it's Netta's turn next week. It's now more than likely, that for the first time there will be no intruders in the final. Not counting season 1, as season 2 was the first with intruders.

Sunday 22:07pm -Sebastian and Janica, Tanja, Rami, Ben, Suvi, Netta.

Sunday 22:14pm - Ben and Janica, Tanja, Suvi,  Rami, Sebastian, Netta.

So the public had been voting for 7 whole days, Sebastian received the most votes and Ben was down in 5th place. Then in just 7 minutes of voting, Ben managed to get enough votes to overtake Sebastian. But not only that Janica, Tanja, Rami and Suvi got enough votes to overtake Sebastian as well - all this from just 7 minutes of voting.

So either there is only a tiny number of votes being cast or the top 6 places were very close together.

I think anyone except Netta could win Big Brother Finland 2011 with this voting format. Had today been the final and had voting closed at 22.14pm, Ben would have been crowned the winner.

On the next Eviction show if anyone can provide a link for me please do :)

From what I've seen (and read) I want Suvi or Tanja to win. I quite liked Rami so it's a shame he left :-\

I don't like this voting to "not nominate". If the public are doing the nominating then they should be voting for who they want to nominate.

Yes. For example, earlier she has nominated Sebastian with the reasoning she thinks no-one else will nominate him so he's going to be safe. (And she doesn't need to feel guilty about actually helping vote out somebody.)

For all we know the intermediate bar charts can be faked for drama and for milking more votes. I somehow suspect they don't probably even have a direct connection from the online voting system to the graphics workstation.

Here's some number geek who has been calculating the minimum number of actual votes required for the final percentages (not for tonight's results, yet, though):

See his previous posts to that thread as well. You may want to use Google Translate to your advantage:

That was done earlier this season when the public nominated Salar and Annika. I guess they just wanted a new twist this time by changing the number of nominees and the vote to save thing... so that it wouldn't look like the same "special" vote all over again.

Janica's birthday party will take place today (Thursday). It will probably begin in the evening during the "BB Extra" live show (7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Finnish time) but since the schedules in BBF can be flexible I guess you'd better be checking out how things will progress from 4 p.m. onwards (or so.)

The housemates have been planning, in secrecy, some sort of a costume party with several different little events. They will also sing a song for Janica. The song will be based on the melody from a popular existing song but the lyrics have been rewritten to tell about Janica's life in Big Brother Finland - and also about her exchange week in Big Brother Norway. (Janica's romantic encounter with Roberto will feature in the lyrics.) BB has promised to arrange a keyboard (an electric piano / synthesizer) for Sebastian and a trumpet for Mikael so they can accompany the singing. They've played those instruments back in their normal life.

BB has also promised Sebastian and Mikael will get some time to practice playing the song together before the actual performance... so if you want to catch this, it could happen any time after they have woken up.

Preparations and rehearsals for Janica's birthday party have been going on for a while now. Janica herself has been directed to the extra room where she's getting a fresh red dye on her hair. If you watch the timeshift buffer from about 1 hour 45 minutes to the past from the time of this posting, you can catch Sebastian playing various songs on a synthesizer. He's actually quite good at it.

Mikael's trumpet skills are not that good. He says he hasn't played for some years and has forgotten most of it... but he's trying.

Some songs they're going to play and sing:

Reino Helismaa - "
Päivänsäde ja menninkäinen
"
Zen Café - "
Todella kaunis
"
Sig - "
Hyvää syntymäpäivää
"

Roberto's video greetings and Janica's reactions will be seen during tonight's live "BB Extra" show (7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Finnish time.) The party will probably begin pretty soon.

The housemates will get a Night of Horrors. They just don't know that yet. (Currently, they're waiting on the patio and the rolling steel door is down, so they can't see what's going on inside the house.)

According to a news article on the official website, the bedroom has been converted into a chamber of horrors. It has also got something to do with a scary (?) granny.

The housemates just finished watching "Paranormal Activity".

Suvi's reactions:

The actual scariness hasn't begun yet but it probably will soon.
