I tried to look for the numbers in finnpanel, but I don't know why they decided to delete the old numbers  :-\

The numbers from the final in Norway were not really good  :-\

It was watched by only 107.000 viewers, and the most watched show from this season was Caroline's eviction with 123.000 viewers (I don't have the numbers from the first 2 live shows)

The average from the season was 94.900 viewers

But there are the show with most viewers in TV Bliss 2 and possibly could be another season.

Guys, the norwegian and swedish Big Brother seasons that came out this year were aired on CABLE networks, that's the reason why the numbers are low! It's great that those networks, specially both being launched this year attracted all those viewers with BB.
:) Live happy every day!!! <3

Guys, the norwegian and swedish Big Brother seasons that came out this year were aired on CABLE networks, that's the reason why the numbers are low! It's great that those networks, specially both being launched this year attracted all those viewers with BB.
According to different sources, the launch was watched by 533.000 viewers (Source: http://www.kampanje.com/medier/article5760290.ece) and the final only by 107.000 viewers . Also the final wasn't the most watched show from the season, when it's by far the most interesting live show from the series.

I'm talking about that, not that it was broadcasted in a small TV station. The numbers can be pretty good for TV2 Bliss, but I don't think they are happy that they lost 426.000 viewers from the launch to the final, and that the final was only watched by 107.000 viewers. I think they will have to find the reason of those numbers, because the public was really excited about this new season, but they lost the interest on it during the weeks

And the main difference with Sweden, is that on Sweden the launch had 340.000 viewers (Source: http://www.mms.se/_dokument/rapporter/vecka/VeTvTitt1107.pdf) and the final 350.000 viewers (Source: http://www.mms.se/_dokument/rapporter/vecka/VeTvTitt1122.pdf), so although this can be low numbers, it doesn't lost viewers in the 12 weeks, so the public was "happy" with it.

I have finally managed to get most of the ratings for BBUSA. Here is the list of each season with their average viewership per season.

Key Points:
From BB1 - BB5, BB2 was the lowest rated season and the only one not to break 8+ million in average viewership
From BB6 - BB12 the lowest rated season was BB9
From BB13 - present BB13 is the highest rated season since BB5 in 2004.  The majority of the Wednesday episodes obtained the best ratings out of all seasons with Wednesday episodes excluding BB1 (BB4, BB9 and BB10 had episodes on Wednesdays)

From BB1 - BB6 one episode was transmitted on Saturdays which is the lowest watched night in US television which hurt the ratings for these seasons

From the Endemol Netherlands era (BB1 only) BB1 is still the highest rated season despite massive viewership drops. Only BB4/BB3 have come close to match BB1
From the Shapiro/Grodner era (BB2-BB7) the lowest rated season was BB6
From the current Grodner/Meech era (BB8-present) the lowest rated season was BB9

Big Brother 1 - 9.10 million <--- Competed against Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games
Big Brother 4 - 8.80 million
Big Brother 3 - 8.70 million
Big Brother 5 - 8.30 million  <--- Competed against Athens 2004 Summer Olympic Games
Big Brother 13 - 7.95 million <-- Best rated since BB5 in 2004
Big Brother 2 - 7.90 million
Big Brother 12 - 7.76 million
Big Brother 7 - 7.56 million
Big Brother 8 - 7.52 million
Big Brother 6 - 7.24 million
Big Brother 11 - 7.19 million
Big Brother 10 - 6.72 million <-- Competed against Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics
Big Brother 9 - 6.56 million <--- Competed against American Idol

Big Brother 14 will compete against the 2012 London Olympics so I do expect a drop in overall ratings. I am predicting ratings will fall in the 6.75-7.25 million range.

These cable networks will not be making any profit out of Big Brother. BB is a very expensive show and they must be making a huge loss from it.

However, they haven't done Big Brother to make a profit, but rather to get new viewers and lots of media coverage for their network. With the hope that people will become familiar with their programmes and continue watching the channel once BB has finished.

I don't expect BB to run for more than 2 editions on these networks in Sweden and Norway, as they could not sustain the losses for any longer period.

Joako, do you think that after this surprise in the ratings, are GH7's ratings going to improve or will stay as they are now?

I think the ratings are going to improve a little more in the next weeks, I think the public was boring with the fake eviction, and I think that next Sunday we will have the real evictions again.

Also this are the last weeks of "Bailando..." and "Cantando...", so after it GH will be the main show on TV, so almost everything will be about GH

But I have to say that I'm really surprised about the numbers from last night. Although it wasn't a great number, it was really good for this season

The final in Portugal had 14.3 points of rating and 50.3% of share. It wasn't the most watched show from the season, the highest rating was 15.1 points in the launch and in Paulo's eviction, but it was the highest share of the season.

The average was 13.5 points of rating and 41.2% of share

The last season of Bigg Boss in India had an average of 1.72 points and the 33rd place in the TOP 100 from the week. It lost more than point from last season, which had an average of 2.87 points and the 16th place in the TOP 100 ::)
