Sixx is now giving people the chance to uncover the first two housemates.

So far, they've been able to uncover 40% of the first male and 38% of the first female housemate.

interesting idea. now the male HM has 62% and I am sure we won't recognize much until it hits the 95-area :D

people are very pessimistic about the ratings for the show and so am I. despite Promi BB being a ratings hit yet again there isn't that much publicity for this given the small channel it airs on and people being skeptical if a civilian BB can work these days (its problaby the same in every country).

There actually is on pretty much every social media and in cities with posters and everything.

Though, it certainly won't be anywhere near the Celebrity versions ratings, it could be solid and have a shot to be more then just a one hit wonder.

Apparently, the male is Christian Knospe, 23, from Erfurt and the current(?) Mister Thüringen and the female is called Isabell, 30, from Nuremberg.

The third housemate will be Tim Heilig, an "internet star" as they call him.
http://bbfun.de/news/big-brother-2015/tim-heilig-bewohner-haus-1292928200.html

There also seems to be a bit of a meltdown on the facebook page of Big Brother cause all three confirmed housemates have previously been on screen and people really thought that there'd be "normal persons with no media exposure" exclusively.  ::)

Though, I don't know any of the three, but I don't watch those crappy afternoon series on RTL or stuff like that and I'm also not that interested in finding out everythig before they enter the house.

I think people were interpreting things Jochen Bendel said way too literally. And also could name instances in other Big Brothers or reality shows who are more crass than what is happening here.

And somebody wrote on IOFF that like even back in season 2, Walter was a contestant in a dating show and Alida had appeared in several daily talk shows. But there was no social media back in 2000. That's why these things gets public nowadays. But yeah, complain about a model with just over 500 FB likes....

I absolutely agree with this.
Bendel talked about people not really known in media circles and so far, all three of them are pretty much unknowns if you're not diggin very deep.

That's the point.
People always remember the old times in good ways and forget stuff about it.
Starting with season 2, there wasn't a season without people that already did something within the media realm and anyone expecting something else are pretty strange to me.

I mean, what "normal" person would quit his job or at least take a long time absence from it(if the boss ever allows it) just to take part in a reality show in which you don't know if you're taking part for one week or three months?

^no clue but both seem to be annoying if you could tell that from those snippets plus all three so far seem to be (unsucessul) fame whores and the diary room is ugly. not a good start so far.

A huge shitstorm came over the FB page of BB in Germany. The production team reacted like not that nice to some fans. For example they simply wrote "Bye..." when a user complained about the new hm's.

They just lied about a really important point for many fans so I can understand the reactions.

That's the joke about it, cause they didn't actually lie about it(like previously discussed in here) but it rather being people who read stuff into quotes that fit their believes.

And the ones on FB are pretty strange(as usual) and most of the ones complaining are trying to use facts like how great former housemate X or Y was and how much better old times were even though those housemates weren't new to the media as well etc.

The only difference right now is that people will know everything within a couple of seconds thanks to social media, while it wasn't that much known in earlier seasons.

BTW: There's an article on Presseportal about the show.

They state:
- 12 housemate(we knew that)
- one area(of course)
- 235 square meter house
- 245 square meter garden
- "criminal area" outside(like in season 10, I guess)
- nominations every two weeks and evictions the weeks in between

Gonna be interesting to see who else will be joining the three already known housemates.
Sixx also posted about two others housemates. One is really active(doing a lot of sports) and the other one's about 5'1(1.55 meters) tall.

Don't care at all about any details etc.

In fact they lied especially the host of the upcoming series did as he has given several interviews. In one of them he was clear enough. Well Don't think it's an good idea to blame like average fans just because they are disapointed now... As you would like to watch the actress/actor show with tits en masse feel free and enjoy

So you don't care about the details but still just complain about stuff for the sake of it?

I also don't know that stuff about actors, given that those have taken part since season 2, but that's something none of those critisizing it want to admit.
The people known so far are also a model, a dude crying for facebook likes and a girl that took part in some show/crap series on the cheap aired on RTL in the afternoon.
If you're really view them as "celebrities" or people "workin in the media" then that's your problem, cause taking part in those shows is something a gazillion people have done before, without ever becoming popular.

I also don't blame anyone and don't get the stuff about tits etc.
We've even had porno stars take part in former seasons(Anita, Cora etc.) and some of them showed to be way more normal then some average Joe trying to take the spotlight in a reality tv show.

I personally believe that people just want to complain just because it's the easiest thing to do.
And by people I don't mean the average fan but rather the ones going on the internet trying to find out everything about the housemates before the season even starts.
The average fan, normally, doesn't do that and just watches to decide which housemate to like and which not.

Overall I think people are making way too big a thing of it(already in the media, not or whatever), as I just watch this show to be entertained and have some fun writing on message boards to have a laugh.

Two more housemates, Lucy and Sharon.

Pictures of the house and garden.

Seems like there's no pool, but a Sauna(left hand side of the garden picture) and the "criminal area" is pretty much in the centre of it.

Article

@rocco:
It might come off diffenrent but I've got no problem with your point of view. If you're dissapointed then that's fair but I probably just have a different way of approching the show.

Of all things German people could spend energy on I would say "getting angry at big brother" shouldn't be #1 by what do I know...

Producers are so arrogant now - they seem to forget that Big Brother isn't their show, they're just looking after it for a while.  This whole "we know best" attitude doesn't sit well with viewers at all.

Why are there two diary rooms?   Also it's been a few years now since Germany ditched the camera runs - surprising other versions haven't followed suit.

I'm confused. those pictures look different to the ones on the Housrundgang. I guess we will have two areas and a divide again?
