Big Brother 8 Finland
« on: March 12, 2012, 07:22:04 PM »
Castings have started. This year the castings will be done online only. There is no casting tour. Also Mikko Räisänen (producer) and Kim Sainio (head director) are promising a completely different series to any of the previous. Apparently there's going to be big changes. They are saying, that last year was just the beginning of the changes to come.

The logo this year is the same as in Sweden and Norway. I guess they ran out of original ideas then...

Thanks. :)

The casting process is now taken to the road. Although the site still says, there isn't a traditional casting tour. I guess they're just picking people from the streets. Not sure about anything else, but the producers being on the road.

The launch is on Tuesday August 28th. So I guess the housemates will enter on the 27th.

Oh...and unfortunately I didn't make it to the house. So I guess I will be updating here.

The hosts have been revealed. This year Elina Viitanen will host the Sunday live shows on her own. A former drag-artist, today mostly pop-artist Cristal Snow will host BB Extra. Also it seems the prize money this year is 70.000 euros...this is yet to be confirmed.

Some advices to have chances to enter in Big Brother:
- Be happy
- Be a little strategic, they could like it.
- Don't show you're a fan of this Show.

Here they also appreciate, if the applicant shows genuine interest in entering the house. I know all this. I guess I'm just not interesting enough. Or wasn't what they were looking for this year.

Tanja from last year will have some part of the setup this year. What it is, remains to be seen. She won't be a HM, that much is clear. As clear, as these things can be.

Why Tanja? She wasn't that intresting...
Anyway, I'm very excited for that season. Even if it's hard to understand, I like this BB. It's one of the most creative and extrem BB and the housemates (even if last year they're were all very bad looking except Janica and Ben) are very intresting.

hmm I agree the original HMs might have not been the best looking bunch in the history but all the intruders have been more or less eye-candy if I remember well.

Yeah, Amanda and Rami were cute, but not that good looking at the point of being eye candy, but that's only my taste  :)

Rami :-*

Hottest Finnish male HM ever in my opinion :-*

I found Elisa & Marika from the Sixth series attractive too :)

I was thinking about Matti - but you have to be into muscular hunks to like him I guess  :D

I found him very hot :P and Oskar was somehow cute, too.
and also BB Suomi gave us one of the naughtiest gay moments in the history of BB and it was involving two hot guys - don't you all remember the little adventure of Sampo and Ragnar in the tube?  ;)

Yeah, he's a bit too muscular for me too. And he was kinda stupidn by the way.
I remember Ragnar being gay, I don't remember quite well if Sampo was. But that was a really good looking couple.

Sampo was bisexual, I think. At least he only admitted to that. Then again, if I remember correctly, Sampo also told he had more experience with guys than girls.

Live streams are still available at a discounted rate for a couple of days. 34 euros, normal price for the whole season is 40 euros. I have absolutely no idea, if the streams are geoblocked or not.

Oh...and the HMs will enter the house in about 4 hours.

Also...apparently we're going to have an exchange again. Some fans are speculating it would be with either Australia or Colombia. Time will tell.
