Bigg Boss India 6
« on: September 24, 2012, 04:28:10 AM »
The sixth edition of Bigg Boss is expected to launch on October 7th, and has a snazzy new logo.

The show will once again have Salman Khan as the host. ::) ::) ::) So expect a lot of favouritism and bias from him again this year.

Although no names are confirmed as of yet, there are rumours that American socialite Kim Kardashian may enter the house as a guest during the edition.

The producers of the show have stated that this year the show will be "cleaner" as they strive for a family image. Host Salman Khan has been noted to say that he wants the show to move away from its trademarked negative and controversial status. Despite this one of the rumoured housemates is a spiritual leader who gained infamy after it was claimed he sexually assaulted over 40 women.

Quote
Bigg Boss is back with the perfect mix of emotion, drama, fun and entertainment. With strangers from different walks of life locked in a house, for 90 days- with 63 cameras following their moves 24x7, this season will not just be about celebrities but also an ‘aam aadmi.’ To give company to the housemates, there will be two charming houseguests- a fish, 'O Fish' and a talking Macaw parrot, 'Radhe'
The new edition of Bigg Boss airs at a family-friendly timeslot, at 9pm, from Sunday to Monday starting October 7, 2012. Gear up for the wholesome family entertainer with Salman Khan delivering a ‘parivarik’ punch.

The housemates have nominated already, and the reveal of who is captain and who is nominated will be tonight.

Later in the week or next week, a member of the public will enter the house as a housemate.

So we are going to have 2 members of the public this season?

Maybe they will decide to do an anonymous season after this one  ;D

The housemates were split into seven pairs. As there are 15 housemates the housemate that remained, Niketan, was made the Captain this week. Each pair nominated another pair in the Diary Room. A vote for a pair was counted as a vote for each housemate in the pair.

The seven pairs were:
- Aashka and Urvashi
- Aseem and Dinesh
- Delnaaz and Sayantani
- Karishma and Sapna
- Kashif and Vrajesh
- Rajeev and Sidhu

Aashka and Urvashi nominated Sapna and Karishma
Aseem and Dinesh nominated Karishma and Sapna
Delnaaz and Sayantani nominated Sampat and Sana
Karishma and Sapna nominated Urvashi and Aashka
Kashif and Vrajesh nominated Sampat and Sana
Rajeev and Sidhu nominated Aseem and Dinesh
Sampat and Sana nominated Dinesh and Aseem

Aseem - 4
Dinesh - 4
Karishma - 4
Sampat - 4
Sana - 4
Sapna - 4
Urvashi - 2
Aashka - 2

As the Captain of the house, Niketan was allowed to save one pair from the eviction vote. Niketan decided to save Sampat and Sana, meaning the housemates nominated for eviction are Aseem, Dinesh, Karishma and Sapna.

I thought the article I read said a second member of the public would enter, but now I can't find where I thought it said that, so for the moment it's probably best to ignore what I said and assume it meant Kashif.

Edit - yes, it looks like only Kashif will be the 'common man' in the show this year.

KASHIF and RAJEEV are up for eviction this week

DELNAAZ = Sampat & Karishma
URVASHI = Niketan & Rajeev
AASHKA = Sampat & Kashif
RAJEEV = Kashif & Aseem
SIDHU = He refused to vote, he said it is against his principles ::)
KASHIF = Rajeev & Karishma
ASEEM = Kashif & Rajeev
SAMPAT = Kashif & Aseem
SANA = Sampat & Sayantani
KARISHMA = Sampat & Kashif
SAYANTANI = Sapna & Kashif
NIKETAN = Kashif & Urvashi
VRAJESH = Kashif & Rajeev
SAPNA = Rajeev & Sampat

Bigg Boss announced that as not all the housemates voted, they were all up for eviction this week. Some housemates decided to try to convince Sidhu to vote. Sidhu decided to vote at the next day

SIDHU = Niketan & Vrajesh

Kashif = 8
Rajeev = 5
Sampat = 5

Aseem = 2
Karishma = 2
Niketan = 2
Sapna = 1
Sayantani = 1
Urvashi = 1
Vrajesh = 1
Aashka = 0
Delnaaz = 0
Sana = 0
Sidhu = 0

Then the three nominee had to act infront of the other housemates and the housemates voted to save one of them. The vote was secret, and Sampat was chosen to be safe

Wow, I didn't see it coming. Kashif was really popular in the forums, but I guess the controversy with Salman didn't help him

And maybe the public want to see more from the Delnaaz and Rajeev in the house :-\

I was surprised to see Kashif evicted even with the controversy - last year Mahal made it all the way to being runner-up with Salman's support, so I was totally expecting him to stay.

Kashif, in an interview with a site called Tellybuzz, has this to say about his Bigg Boss experience...

Quote
I think the Bigg Boss house is a blend of a jail and a mental asylum. Half of the contestants are mental and the other half are trying to be mental.... Most of the inmates in the Bigg Boss Season 6 house were fake. I however was very original.  The show did give me instant fame. Before I entered the house I was a nobody.

Sayantani is the third housemate to be evicted from the house as she received the least amount of votes to save from the production team public. Rajeev and Urvashi survive.

Aseem, Sapna, Sampat & Karishma are up for eviction

Firstly this week, Karishma and Sapna were automatically nominated for eviction as punishment for talking without their microphones. They were called to the confession room and asked to name their favourite housemate. Karishma said Sidhu and Sapna said Aseem. Therefore Aseem and Sidhu were also automatically nominated for Karishma's and Sapna's punishment.

They were not allowed to nominate this week, and neither was Delnaaz as the HoH. Delnaaz, however, was allowed to save one of the nominees.

I don't know whether the housemates nominated first and then the four others were punished, as this would explain why some of them were nominated by their housemates, or whether the other housemates did not know of the punishment at the time.

Aaskha nominated Karishma and Niketan
Niketan nominated Sampat and Aashka
Rajeev nominated Sampat and Karismha
Sampat nominated Niketan and Sapna
Sana nominated Sampat and Karishma
Urvashi nominated Aseem and Sampat
Vrajesh nominated Rajeev and Sapna

Sampat - 4
Karishma - 3
Niketan - 2
Sapna - 2
Aashka - 1
Aseem - 1
Rajeev - 1

Sampat received 4 nominations and was nominated alongside Aseem, Sapna, Sidhu and Karishma. Delnaaz, as the House Captain, was allowed to save one of the nominees this week and she chose to save Sidhu.

Therefore the housemates nominated for eviction were Aseem, Karishma, Sampat and Sapna. However, today, Karishma left the house because of family issues as she was informed of her father's death. Aseem, Sampat and Sapna remain nominated for this week's eviction. I don't know if the eviction will still be a double, which it was planned to be this week.

If certain rumours are to be believed, the 'public' will choose Aseem to be evicted as there have been small controversies over his inclusion in the programme from the Republican Party of India, which believe Aseem to "hurt the sentiments" of the Dalit community with his cartoons that had "grossly insulted" the national emblem and other constitutional symbols" (http://www.hindustantimes.com/Entertainment/Television/BIGG-BOSS-6-Activists-attack-channel-office-contestant-quits/Article1-953497.aspx) Yesterday, a group of men from the RPI threw stones at the house in protest of Aseem's participation.

The fourth housemate to be evicted is Aseem.

Actress Mink Brar will enter the house as Karishma's replacement soon. She is a small time actress who has appeared in small parts in a few Bollywood movies and appears to love controversy.

At a time when countries have axed their live feeds (UK, Australia, France etc) India has done the opposite and from 1st November they have introducted a live feed for the first time in their 6 seasons. In fact Colors TV are claiming this is the first time ever that an Indian reality show has had a live stream.

You can watch it free at the official website -
