this round it doesn't make much sense anyway. If it would be like BB UK3 where the public did the nominations in the first week and then the HMs evicted I think it would've justified these two rounds of voting. Otherwise they simply should've made it clear that the public is simply evicting the most hated HM by default. it is as simple as that when you break it down and I find this lame.
I agree with you. I thought they would be like BB3, but I was wrong.

GET DEXTER OUT!

I actually like Sallie, and I thought Gina was horrible at first, but she is growing on me now. Hope they stay! :)

Very entertaining first days! :P

If Dexter is evicted, he will become first man in BBUK history to be the first man to be evicted first in a non-celebrity edition! ;D ;D ;D

Don't get your hopes up, Gina is done. And if that doesn't happen I will look like a fool but I am 99.9% sure that Gina will be evicted.

Because remember BB9? when everyone was certain Steph would survive in the four way against Lisa, Luke & Mario, and that Mario would go? well she didn't and she received 48% IIRC.

If they can vote someone like Stephanie out when she was sweet, brave and entertaining, they'll vote a dumb, ignorant but entertaining bitch like Gina out in a heartbeat.

Btw this series is holding up fairly well, last night 1.43m (8.2% share) people watched the H/L's show at 10pm, and I believe that's good for the 10pm slot. :)

And I read that the livefeed things only made 37.000 viewers and apparently it's pretty bad and people are talking about axing it. I don't watch it, but I hoped it would worked so that one day the real livefeed could come back :/

50,000 I think.

It's not been advertised well I guess, I don't know.

@Rod I'm not sure, I doubt it though.

Although all the internet polls are saying Dexter is favourite to go, internet polls almost always have more voters voting to evict male housemates than the real phone votes.

This is the reason why internet forums are full of posts complaining about how the public got it wrong.

I'm with Jack here, I'm 99.9% certain that Sallie will be safe tomorrow and Gina evicted Friday.

Even the bookies have Gina as big favourite to be evicted -

Yes viewing figures for the live feed are very bad. Unless they improve I doubt 5* will continue to have 2 hours of low rated prime time for much longer. Average for the timeslot before Big Brother was about 200,000.

The problem is the time, there is no other BB to support it. The live feed is 7pm-9pm, then there is an hour of no BB before the highlights show at 10pm and BOTS at 11pm.

Another problem is the heavy censoring due to it airing before 9pm. Also they need to be giving them things to do when the live feed is on. Everytime I have watched, the HMs have been sitting down talking. Viewers aren't going to watch in large numbers when all there is to see is housemates sitting down and birds cheeping away.

There is demand for the live feed though. On Thursday and Friday, the late night feed at 11.30pm was watched by over 450,000 people.

I would -
Move BOTS to 9pm on 5*. Have the highlights show at 10pm on C5 and have the live feed from 11pm-1am. With less censoring and a BB lead-in, the ratings would be much higher.

In Portugal, there is a 24h live feed, so we can watch BB when we want! They only stop the live feed on Sundays, after 2pm more or less, and before Diaries and Nomination Show!

Jemima thinks Gina is going, in a convo with Daley, Sam and Charlie, she asked them if they can see the Evictees leave the house and she said "when she goes", so presumably she meant Gina.

She then asked the others who she thought was going and they all went "it could be anyone"... boring ::)
