'Big Brother's first mother and daughter.;

I didn't realise they'd tried to wipe Celebrity Big Brother 5 completely from history.  ;)

Charlie, 26, and Jackie, 59, are the final housemates. They are mother and daughter.

It annoys me so much that Michael is sometimes considered a housemate and other times he's not.

Maybe, but Emma has been on the stage and has told the audience plenty of times that he's the 'people's puppet', so if they're gonna hear that then they would already know, There's no real reason to refer to him as a housemate sometimes and not other times.

Someone already thinks he's a fake HM, this won't last long (thankfully) unless production have advised him to keep the 6 HM's suitcases.

EDIT - Good thinking by BB lol

I've decided to give BB UK a go this year - my first Channel 5 BB. I stopped watching when the live feed was axed. Now it is partially restored I'm going to see how long I last!

A few observations so far -
It almost seems like Celebrity Big Brother - professional boxer, model, glamour model, headline making sugar daddy, headline making spoilt brat, police officer who has just worked on a high profile case, well known 70s dancer. These housemates are at about the same status as the majority of celebrity BB housemates. Why can't they just have normal people from all areas of the UK?

The twist - why do all BB UK launch night twists revolve around the suitcases. Haven't the producers realised yet that the viewers really couldn't give a toss about whether the housemates get their suitcases or not.

The mole - has potential to be a good twist, but they have put all the focus on Michael too soon and given that they all know the show is called Secrets & Lies this year, the housemates are already suspecting Michael. They will be lucky to get more than a week out of this one.

There are some positives though -
Emma - much better presenter than Brian. Why she was thought to be only worthy of a spin-off show until now is a mystery.

Live feed - OK so we only have 2 out of 24 hours a day, and pre-watershed meaning lots of censoring, but it's better than nothing. Ratings where very good last night, so if people keep watching perhaps C5 will expand the number of hours.

Nominations twist - whilst I usually hate messing with nominations, I quite like the idea as a one off, that the public do the nominating and the evicting - has this ever been done before?

So far I give this edition 7/10.
My favourites from Day 1 are Sam and Wolfie.
My least favourites from Day 1 are Sallie and Dexter

I'll have to watch back now, Callum and Dexter seem to be twisting things I'll have to watch again.

I have finished the 2nd part of the launch, I had Wolfy as my early pick as a favorite but I don't know if I'm going to keep her, I'm keeping my eye on the other female housemates (except Hazel, I don't really like hr), especially Jemima. Gina is sooo OTTNN, I think she is going to be the 1st one out and it's gone serve as Jemima's and Sallie's shield in the first nomination.

I think the audience will nominate three between Dexter, Jemima, Sallie and Gina, and will end with Gina being evicted.
