That host is so Probst-like, but I do like how it started off very old-school Survivor US-like, but the blinding in episode two drew it to the new-age Survivor. I'm also rooting for Conner, I think that he will make it far. They're also making Samoa more beautiful than American Survivor did.

Call me cynical or it might be an American thing, but (as far as the first four Survivor AU episodes) the Aboriginal guy getting the Purple Kelly edit looks really racist.

She looks half, she's probably part Indian or South Asian, based on her features, she looks naturally tan as opposed to tanned

Naturally tan can still be considered white, Americans consider Greeks and Italians to be white.

To those familiar with UK politics, why is the Conservative Party the main party? Why not the Liberal Democrats?

The Lib Dems based on the general consensus should be in power.  They are kind of like the middle class party, with the conservatives quite often representing the overpaid, such as bankers.  The exception being farmers who traditionally have a good relationship with the conservatives.  Labour atm are really a mess.  Stuck between those who want the party to appeal to the every day person and people such as the current leader, Jeremy Corbyn, who want them to be a more left-wing and socialist party.

The Lib Dems won't find much success for a VERY long time however due to the damage Nick Clegg caused, first of all for entering then coalition government with the conservatives back in 2010, second of all one of his original party promises before the election was that he would not increase the costs for higher education. Later he backtracked on this and student university costs went up.  The Lib Dem party has never been able to recover from that.

I myself would easily vote for the Conservatives over Corbyn's Labour as at least the Conservative party champions a work ethic whereas the aim of Corbyn is to reward the unambitious, the stupid and the lazy.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo

The last season of BB I watched was BB 3 USA last year and a half and this summer I decided to START and FINISH Big Brother 1 UK.

............... 8.5/10.

It was FASCINATING. I watched it as a documentary and it reminded me SO much of Survivor Borneo. Rather than having fun most of these people were trying to actually SURVIVE both the house and each other. And i ended up knowing and appreciating all of the housemates.

Plus it gave BIRTH to one of my fav villains, CPN queen Mel Hill <333333

I liked Claire and Nichola most from that series.  Everybody has likeable personalities that series which was refreshing, even Melanie. :P

Me meeting people & introducing myself: through the years.

February, 2010: "My name is D**."

August, 2010: "My name is D**, but everybody calls me Penndawt".

August, 2011: "My name is Penndawt". When I moved to Pennsylvania/transferred to a Boarding School, I used to wear a neon vest and looked like a PennDOT worker".

August, 2012: "My name is Penndawt".

August, 2013:
Me: "My name is Penndawt".
Other person: "What's your real name?"
Me: "It's D**, but nobody calls me that".

August, 2014:
Me: "Me name is Penndawt"
Other person: "What's your real name?"
Me: "That's irrelevant, you'll never call me that."

August, 2015:
Me: "My name is Penndawt"
Other person: "What's your real name?"
Me: "I swear on my family's lives and my life that my legal name is Penndawt"

August, 2016:
Me: "My name's Koadey".

I never ended up connecting to Claire, she's probably bottom1 for me that season. She probably ends up being 4th/3rd if #TheMelHill didn't made Darren change his vote tho kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Nichola <3 she's top4 for me after Mel, Nick and Anna, what a MESS, she looked like someone from the trashy middle seasons randomly put in there <33333333 WHEN SHE WANTED TO TEAR ALL THE MAGAZINES APART TO MAKE HORRIBLE DECORATION!!! I FELL TO THE FLOOR.

And my new JAM

I love ITV's new miniseries Victoria. Just came here to tell you. I didn't want to start another thread, that might've been just that one message.

That's cheap. I don't think I could get a flight to Iceland for that price from Helsinki.

I like how in a lot of the competitions in Australian Survivor, the team that falls behind in the beginning challenge often comes from behind and wins.

Also, Connor & Nick are both very much comparable to Spencer Bledsoe and his game.

Aganoa <333333333 their comebacks <33333333

I think Nick is more comparable to Spencer... Conner not really, the only things they have in common is "young college student" and "Survivor Superfan" Conner is pretty hilariously trainwrecky, blowing up his game one stupid comment after another, Spencer is methodical

Connor being spared over Baz made me think of when Spencer was spared over J'Tia, in which in the case for Nick, it was like then time Spencer was spared over Shirin, Spencer's ally.
