Television Shows with different VERSIONS
« on: October 04, 2013, 09:12:37 AM »
I made this thread for Soap Operas, Dramas, GameShows and alike shows with different countries who have their own versions of these.

I'll go with my first Sample..

Since everyone knows Thalia, most of her phenomenal shows were already remade in our country.
In Philippines, we already did Marimar, Rosalinda, and Maria Del Barrio.

And now, for 2013, we have our latest version of Maria Mercedes which will start on October 7.
Here's her music video.

I really enjoyed more this version than the original one.

I'm sure you guys know about American TV series Gossip Girl.

Well, in Mexico, Televisa produced a remake set in beach city destination Acapulco. And I saw an episode this past week and the show sucks bananas. LOL.

Here's the cast of Gossip Girl: Acapulco

:) Live happy every day!!! <3

I think there are more than one local version of foreign series made in the US. Skins is one I can think of off the hat. I liked the first season of the original UK series. Haven't even watched the US-version.
Lost a planet Master Obi Wan has. How embarrassing.

The US version sucks, so bad that it was cancelled after one season. In America, apparently we are "conservative" when it comes to TV. Skins caused quite a stir here.

Another remake...this time a Scandinavian series. Originally. The Bridge. Of course, there's an US-version of this show. Also, a Brittish-French version has been made.

Not sure, if this is the right thread...but in 2015 Temptation Island will arrive to Finland. The Finnish version will be shown on Liv.
