Promi Big Brother 2 Germany
« on: April 15, 2014, 02:44:24 AM »

Promi Big Brother will come back this autumn with a 2nd season, Sat.1 announced this morning. Albeit with new hosts, as Cindy & Oliver won't return for a 2nd season.

There won't be any regular Big Brother seasons in Germany anymore.

Also, I don't need that Celebrity stuff. Two weeks, with some has been "stars" and a "live stream" for 2 hours a day for 25 €.
Totally useless, IMO.

All this just for some two week celebritiy edition?
I mean, the old producers back as well.
Maybe there's a chance that a normal season could be back some time next year?

Tonight, it was announced that Promi Big Brother 2 will be subtitled "Das Experiment" (The Experiment) and will start on August 15. The new host is Jochen Schropp who has hosted the 3 season of X Factor Germany before.

Another new house for just two weeks - really hope this series does a little bit better so it might encourage them to do another civilian series (of around 10-13 weeks rather than 6 months!)

I reckon they will use some of this area for "Utopia" in spring.

Isn't the Utopia set though supposed to be properly isolated - presumably the BB house will be in  a studio once again.

Like with Canada I suspect they can probably take the house and essentially reconstruct it in another studio with a few modifications.

And is that the new house then at the end?   Looks great if it is.

Probably not the best day though to release a trailer featuring people falling out of the sky.

Apparently, SAT.1's affiliate channel sixx will broadcast a commentated 100-minute live feed every day from 12am-1.40am CET. Furthermore, ProSiebenSat.1-owned video-on-demand-portal maxdome will have a 24/7-feed for 15,99€.

Furthermore there will be an online sneak peek of the house available from next Friday. :D

That would be great if they came back to a 24/7!
