Big Brother Finland news
« on: March 13, 2015, 05:45:50 PM »
Not much here, but I can tell you that Kim Sainio (head director) and Mikko Räisänen (executive producer) no longer work for Endemol. Also after the merger of Endemol and Shine Group the fate of BB Finland is unclear. Also MTV (owner of Sub) are in a bit of financial trouble, so they've had to make some cuts.

Anyway, if BB is continued here it seems we'll have a new production team. Which would be more than welcome.

Edit/correction: Mikko Räisänen might still be on board. There are no reliable sources to verify. Räisänen doesn't seem to be on Endemol Finland's payroll, but apparently that was the case last year too. Kim Sainio will not be, he has a new job in a radio station, Radio Rock.

Now it's official. Mikko Räisänen is also leaving. Or has already left Endemol. He told this on BB Finland's official FB-wall.

So...if we are going to have a new season, it's with a completely new production team.

It's starting to seem like we won't have Big Brother in Finland this year. Every single media is still quiet about anything related to BB.

I don't think we'll have BB Finland. At least not this year...if ever again. The warehouse, where the house and studios have been for the last years is now vacant. They are advertising the premises on a real-estate site.

That together with there being no news of a possible new production team...doesn't look good.

Now it's official. Big Brother is on hiatus. That's what the official channel is saying...they're not saying, it would be completely axed. Nevertheless, no BB Finland this year.

Roughly the producers are not saying, that BB would be completely over in Finland. Quite the contrary. The Production Manager is positive, that Big Brother will return. In a completely new house.

That's it in a nutshell.

Promising news.

At least this year will also be Big Brotherless in Finland. I'm not really that confident anymore, if there ever will be BB again here.
