I think Saara Aalto should win. Even if she probably won't. She has the only entry, that will stick to your head the first time you hear it. Everyone else are a bit generic. Good, but generic.
For me the best entries are Tuuli and Shandja with "Ain't got time for boys" but I would vote for Tuuli as I think Shandja's song is quite similar to Barei's song and style so I prefer Barei's one.

At least there's only 1 entry in this year's UMK final I wouldn't want to send to Stockholm. That's Eini. Everyone else would be just fine. And I actually also prefer Tuuli above everyone else. She has a very good song and a good presentation.

Sorry...I was a bit drunk, when I commented Saara should win. She also has a good entry, but the presentation is a bit off.

That is actually possibly the best performance of UMK. And that was the interval of the 1st heat. You all know Krista. Roope is mostly a rapper.

I thought politics in songs was not allowed. Yet Ukraine chose 1944, which basically is about the political persecution of tatars in Crimea in the 1940's. And could be seen as a political statement of the situation today.

Will Russia give their top points to Ukraine this year?

Of course they will. Or maybe not.

And André...that's why I don't use auto-correct. At least on my phone it can be disabled.

I asked that as Russian social networks and journalists and politicians were complaining about it so maybebecause of that Ukraine and Russia wouldn't give votes to each other, maybe...

When it comes to Russia and Ukraine...I don't think social media has much to do with what is happening there. It's always political. At the end. I would be surprised, if Russia gave full points to Ukraine. And vice versa.

Also...I would be willing to bet, Russia will choose a song to undermine Ukraine.

Despite my previous claims, it's now official that's it's actually singer Amir that will represent France at the Eurovision this year.

This is the rumored song :

it's super catchy if anything, sounds more like a radio hit than a eurovision song though.

Actually, it's not even official. A french tv show announced it as official, but the official french eurovision twitter calls it a "bet" and ask if people have differents so everything is still open! I live both Sasha and Amir's song so I don't mind any of them.

Another artist strongly rumored because they have been dropping hints about the singer being originally from a band of 5 member, people are thinking of Louisy Joseph, ex-member of L5, the biggest french girl band ever.

her biggest hit so yall can see the kinda music she does :

Bulgaria chose Poli Genova to represent the country. The song will be announced till 17 of March. For now is sure that it will be english song.

In Israel, the finale of "Next star of Eurovision" is on March 3. One of my favourites is already gone. Hovi and Nofar are in the final 4 finalists. I want Hovi Star to win but i think that one member of the jury has something personal against him, he always "cut" people with different sexual orientation. I cross fingers the viewers to vote more about him. But, in the end, i think that the winner will be Ela Daniel. I am 90 % sure in that.

It's now official. FRANCE will be represented by Amir with "J'ai Cherché". Fun fact : Amir Haddad was also a contestant in "Israel Idol" and in "The Voice France" where he finished 3rd.
