The battle of WoBB
« on: March 24, 2016, 12:50:27 AM »
So this is the new game I came up with. It's the battle part of this is from The Voice. You are to post two songs of the same genre. Then after every initial round everyone will choose their favourite. That would be the 1st round of this competition. You will send your votes in the form of whichever song you liked the most to the host of any given round.

This can also be something of a country against a country. Whatever. As long as you have songs of similar styles.

Also you can put a live performances from one band or performer up against each other. Or just anything. As long as the first round is in the spirit of The Voice.

The first round will be a simple vote. Of the two songs. After that it's more of the Eurovision style of voting. And there won't be reprises of the songs. Understood?

The 1st round is theme-free, This is more of a indrotuction to a new game.

Still very much in progress. In the planning phase.

Now...I would like some feedback and suggestions. After giving this more thought I came up with the idea, that after every round the participant with the least amount of votes would be eliminated.

I now have an outline of this game. As you all know, there's a battle in The Voice. And this game is based on that. The idea is, that you put for example males and females against each other. Or it can be to very different styles of music. As I said earlier, the first round you would vote for the entry you like the most. This voting will be done in public.

Then the songs, that got the most votes will be voted again. This is where we would switch to an Eurovision kind of voting. And to whoever is the host, in private. If theres a odd number of entries, a wild card can be used. The wild card can be used by the host of any given round.

Also the most important rule here is, that the battling songs must always be from the same country.

I'll start with Swedish.

Let's just put this game to a hold until further notice. People obviously have better things to do right now. The above was just an example, what this game would be about if it ever properly kicks off.

If not, doesn't bother me.

I feel so bad for you, Markus. Maybe we should try this around November-December-January, I think there are more chances for people to be more active.

Don't be. Just so very bad timing. Possibly.

But whatever, nothing to feel bad about.
