Yes, only males have been the first evictees in GH6 (Salva) and GH10 (Germán).

Patricia is the favourite to be evicted evicted, basically because she's all the day singing.

This has become the worst season in terms of ratings for Gran Hermano so far. Averaging a little bit over the 2.8 million viewers.

Ratings list:

Gala 1- Sunday October 17, 2010 - 3.353.000
Gala 2- Thursday October 21, 2010 - 2.707.000
Gala 3- Thursday October 28, 2010 - 2.294.000

Thursday's liveshow became the least watched Gala in the history of GH, all thanks to TVE's drama Aguila Roja, that this past Thursday obtained over 6 million viewers. Also, as of Gala 3, GH12 averages a 19,7% share, the lowest ever. The audience blames the casting for this season as the consecuence of the major ratings drop (6 HM's already appeared on TV at least once before entering the house, and all appeared on major networks, mainly Telecinco).

So I'm guessing that Gran Hermano may be on the verge of danger when it comes to cancellation?

For the moment, kinda of. But the rules for a show in Spanish television primetime in major networks, if GH goes below 15% in share, yes it would be definitely cancelled. I think GH will be moved to another night later during the season, because that's how people on Telecinco do when a favorite show for executives goes into the danger zone.

Thats a really sad way for a show like that to go out. I have a friend who grew up in Spain and I asked her about Gran Hermano once and she told me when she was living there (from 1990-2003ish) it was the biggest show on tv aside from their Operacion whatever it is.

The show's not getting cancelled. But it's soon to be. I hope ratings can go up when Aguila Roja ends its season or when GH12 becomes more interesting. The other major show was Operacion Triunfo and it ran on TVE until 2004 when they cancelled it and since 2005 airs on Telecinco.

The problems of GH12 are: housemates that appeared in TV before entering in GH, housemates with similar profiles, 2 houses once again with separated housemates (we have a secret house in GH9, the houses 1 and 10 in GH10, the main house and spy house in GH11 and two houses in GH12), the new season hasn't new rules or great twists, third time that a couple must hide their relationship (Gema and Carlos in GH10, Laura and Ángela in GH11, Chari and Rubén in GH12) and obviously, competing with the program with most viewers in the Spanish TV (Águila Roja).

I agree with this. Why? Because producers are executing their idea for GH12 in a really bad way. Also, a major fact that comes with the ratings drop is that the show's aging a little bit faster than it should be aging in Spain, because even though it's been on air since 2000, during the years, producers tried to make it as interesting as they could. But Águila Roja is GH's biggest concern, even though it airs on TVE's La 1 (network that does not air any kind of commercials).

http://formulatv.com has a list with the most watched shows on the month. GH12's premiere obained 3.35 million viewers, and the show ranked as the 38th most watched show on October. Spots 3,4,5 and 6 are all ocupied by Águila Roja which it's episodes aired this month had become really huge.

Finally, TVE is going to cut the actual season of "Águila Roja" next Thursday. It can be a possibility to "Gran Hermano".

Nevertheless, in spite of GH's ratings, it was the third more seen in the day and the program with more rating in a private TV.

The current percentages are:

51.1%
22.3%
15.4%
11.2%

It seems Patricia will be evicted this week if % not change as last week.

Flor and Julio will be banned next Thursday because the producers consider that they are playing falsely in the house to obtain more money when they are outside the house.

GH Spain, I believe, have more fame hungry housemates than the UK version. Unlike the UKBB site which normally doesn't update during the off season, the GHSpain website is always updated on the recent/old housemates who are still biting for their 15 minutes of fame. Usually old housemates admitting to dating another housemate or gossiping about them.

And according to a fan website, its not Patricia thats in danger, its Joaquin thats in danger and Patricia has the least evict votes.

Yes I know, but until yesterday she was leading the poll. For some strange reason the poll changed a lot. On monday it was a poll of 2000 or 3000 votes  as it usually is, but now it's 24000 votes :o :o . That never happened before.

This website shows a truly poll which hardly ever is wrong.

That's true. Most GH housemates are fame hungry and it's an extreme hungry in some cases, but this season comes out with the most cases of fame hungry housemates.
