In terms of shares I would say so but in terms of actual viewers I would say the United States is probably one of the most watched. While the US uses the 18-49 demographic rating/share for success of a TV show in terms of actual viewers it is on par/beats Italy. I really can't say the same for the others because I have only seen share information. Also with the US in terms of viewer shares/demographic shares we have a larger population and programs that attract 15-25 million typically get a 16-20 share of viewers where in the United Kingdom 15 million viewers equals to a 50% share. So in order to determine which are the most watched shows I think actual viewer numbers, not shares, should be used.

A good example is comparing Spain & United States. Spain can get 3 million viewers with a 24.5 share but the United States in the same year can get 6 million viewers but a 8% 18-49 demographic share (this is comparing their tenth season launches)

The Albanian series is obviousuly popular, if the show is pulling in 4m regularly and there's only 3.19m people in Albania (Not including people from Kosovo) then the show is likely to be safe for years to come :)

I know but the US ratings aren't as stable as the italian ones. Anyways, I ordered them in alphabetical order.

Big Brother USA has returned with big ratings in both Canada and the United States this Thursday

The increase in ratings from last year are continuing into this year giving BB its best premiere since 2005! For a long running show still in full-screen! this is a great achievement! In both countries Big Brother was the #1 program in its timeslot beating out Expedition Impossible (ABC in US/CTV in CA). (Now for BB14 they may have enough money to upgrade the crappy cameras to HD)

In the United States Big Brother was the #1 program for the entire night, beating the 8 and 10 o'clock programming.

- United States
The premiere of Big Brother in its new Thursday 9/8 timeslot proved to be a wise decision because CBS has moved the program out of the reality-competitive hour and into a timeslot where repeats and less successful new summer shows are placed.

--Overnight Numbers
2.3 rating/8 share in adults 18-34 (best since Big Brother 7)
2.7 rating/8 share in adults 18-49 (best since Big Brother 8)
3.3 rating/9 share in adults 25-54 (best since Big Brother 6)
7.71 million viewers (best since Big Brother 6)

--Final Numbers
2.8 rating/8 share in adults 18-49 (best since Big Brother 8)
7.89 million viewers (best since Big Brother 6)

-Canada
Global is also celebrating the return of Big Brother and here are their overnight numbers:
878 thousand viewers in adults 18-49
1.70 million viewers

This is just for the premiere, ever since BB9 the premiere generally gains over the previous finale numbers. Now the question is can Big Brother USA maintain the ratings trend of the past three seasons? If Grodner does something displeasing to fans they will turn off until next year.

So ratings have been steadily dropping each year. At what ratings level do you think would be a danger of cancellation?

Added the numbers from the last live show in Argentina

It is the least watched in the history of GH in Argentina, and it is a terrible number for a TV Show in the prime time. The repeat of "Married with Children" was the most watched show from Telefe yesterday

I'm really sad that one of the best season of GH there is doing so bad! It's not fair. But it seems that until Tinelli comes finally to an end by mid-December, GH won't grow at all in the ratings. This season is SO WELL DONE. The producers did a big effort and it's incredible that people aren't watching.

I agree with you. I really like this season, the cast is really good and they are twists are really good. I think it was a terrible idea when they decided to put this season against Bailando...  :-\

I think Uruguay may save this season from going downhill, at least the show's doing better there than in it's homecountry. GH is WAY better than Tinelli's crappy celebrity-packed scripted reality show. Guys, BAILANDO IS SCRIPTED! I love the drama, but damn, be original people.
