I hate the new eye. It reminds me too much of the new generation of eyes of BBUK and BBAU, when then it lead to no more live feeds emission. I hope the live feeds will remain because without it, it's really the end of GH España. lol
There are rumours that there will be live feeds as always, but the change, as the promo says, would be the multicamera which it will let us watch to any camera we want, or at least to the cameras we are allowed to switch.

Despite the rumours, the live feeds will remain for sure.

And the more I see the eye, the more I like, it's different from all the eyes from GH and one similar to BBUK is not Badajoz at least for one edition.

Finally, GH17 will start next Thursday at 22:00. It was rumoured that it was going to be a Gala to remember the career of Mercedes Milá but that wasn't true and the new housemates will entero the house that day.

Jorge Javier Vázquez said last night that there will be new thing never saw in Tv and when he was asked about Mercedes he said he couldnt say a word about it.

The casting is ready with a variety of housemates really different from other past editions.

Pictures are from the show's twitter and are in spoiler tags because of their size.

The launch show began with a farewall party for Mercedes.

Spoiler for Hiden:

The first housemate is Miguel, 31, from Pontevedra. He is a model, who revealed a secret on the show - he has a hairpiece (I'm not sure how he lost his hair).

Spoiler for Hiden:

The second housemate is Noelia, 21, from Córdoba. She was in the audience and did not know she was a housemate until the host revealed that she would be a housemate.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Beatriz, 19, from Valencia is the third housemate. She is a hairdresser.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Álvaro, 32, from Seville is number four. He is an architect.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Pol, 22, from Barcelona is the fifth housemate.

Spoiler for Hiden:

The sixth and seventh housemates are Laura and Meritxell, both 20 and from Barcelona. They have been friends for two years. They are both immediately nominated for eviction, and one must leave the house next week.

Spoiler for Hiden:

The eighth and nine housemates are Fernando, 26, and Cris, 25, from Cádiz. They are friends, and again one of them must leave the house next Thursday.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Clara, 24, from Madrid and Candelas, 24, from Asturias are the next housemates.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Pablo, 21, from Zamora is the next housemate.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Followed by Montse, 27, from Barcelona. She is a farmer and hairstylist.

Spoiler for Hiden:

And then Alain, 38, from Valencia. He was originally born in Paris, France.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Rodrigo, 27, from Madrid is next. He speaks French fluently.

Spoiler for Hiden:

At the doors of the house, Alain and Rodrigo are told that they must pretend they are from Gran Hermano's equivalent in France.  They then have to choose two housemates to send to France. They chose Pol  Pablo (thanks BBDR16 :) :)) and Clara.

Adara, 23, from Madrid is the next housemate.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Bárbara, 38, from Alicante is the final housemate.

Spoiler for Hiden:

Once all seventeen housemates entered the house, they each had to choose a box from a display of the eye logo. One of these boxes includes an 'extra life that can save them from expulsion'. The public are voting between Meritxell and Laura, and Cris and Fernando on the official app. One from each pair will be evicted next week.

One correction to what Phil just explained, Pablo and Clara were the ones chosen by Alain & Rodrigo. Not Pol. (I got to watch the last 90 minutes of the whole thing) And all of the pairs and things that happened during the Launch were all told by JJV to be a hoax.

This 'Extra Life" twist reminds me A LOT to BB18 USA's recent envelope twist with the Round Trip Ticket. And it's been handled by the Spaniards in a really similar fashion. LOL

From what I got to see from the gala, it wasn't as funny or as cool as it was in previous years, JJV is a big deal on that since he's not Mila he can't do the job, and he's not that much of a favorite among Spanish people as well - he is in SO MANY Telecinco shows, he's becoming toxic to watch, and I'm not even joking on this one.

Ratings: GH17 was Spain's #1 show on Primetime last night. Viewers: 2.56 million and 23,9% share, a drop of almost a 0.01% compared to GH16's debut last year, but it was still higher than GH15's debut back in 2014.
:) Live happy every day!!! <3

This is what I thought of when I first saw that they were doing this concept. I like the idea and the way they did it, but I'm not so much a fan of the idea of a second chance due to a random choice. I can't help but feel like this would also invite a fair bit of concern when it comes to theories of rigging in the favour of certain housemates.

In this case, we can trust a little bit more these producers, as they're giving this second chance at the game TO ALL contestants by the time they came inside the house, not at the point you had about 12 people there and quite a few had been evicted already. This comeback will be totally random, and it's up to any of these 17 houseguests.

Because back to BBUS's case, we all know the Round Trip twist was all set at the right time Frank was sent home. LOL
:) Live happy every day!!! <3

There is a part of the house that we don't know yet, it's the GH Club and it might be something like HoH room or something like that where the winner of GH17 must access this room in order to win. We don't know too much about it, but tomorrow night in El Debate, Jordi will tell us all about it.

Last wednesday in the press conference before the show launched, the main director said that there are so many secret rooms and secret tunnels around the house and there is a big twist never done before, in Spain I guess, and we will find out coming soon.

"Algo esta cambiando".

What if it is inspired of BBUS, and the audience has no choice in who to evict, and what if it's the real reason why Mercede decided to leave ?

kkkk but I can't believe it, GH without its amazing "La auidencia ha decidido que debe abandonar la casa..." is a must.

Spoiler for Hiden:

(We didn't see the jacuzzi yet and this makes the HoH theory stronger as it might be the bathroom of the HoH).

Last night the Club of GH was shown and it was revealed how it will works in the house. Every week, the public will vote by app to the housemates they want to enter the Club. The three housemates with most votes will enter every week, they will sleep there where the beds and the facilities are way better than the rest of the house. Moreover they will have a great advantage in the nominations as they will be able to watch the nominations of the rest of the housemates and something more that we don't know yet.

Blind percentages in the vote Cris-Fernando:

Blind percentages in the vote Laura-Meritxell:

Until last night, all was peace and love between all the housemates but last night the first argument happened between Laura-Meritxell and Clara. Today the war exploted in the house. Candelas vs Adara, Pablo vs Adara, Bárbara vs Miguel, Álvaro vs Miguel, Clara vs Laura/Meritxell, Pablo vs Bea...It was a real mess. I don't know much yet but we will find out what happened in the following days.

Não.

It was three seasons ago, she was doing the slut to higher the ratings. That is all.

I never disliked Mercedes, I only complained about her favouritism towards some housemates but that's all. I think she's a good professional and she knows how to deal with this programme. Jorge Javier, NO.

LAURA became the first evicted housemate from GH16.
Meritxell gave her box to Laura.

Then, CRIS became the second evicted housemate.
Pablo, Fernando and Alain gave him their boxes.

Tonight, the first housemate entered to the Club. Some kind of competition was presented in order to enter to the Club. They had to find some balls to put it in front of the pictures of the housemates. If a housemate receives 3 balls, he/she won't be able to enter the Club. Finally POL was the last one with least balls and he is the first housemate to enter the Club.

When he entered he saw a video-message of GH16 winner, Sofía. Then he was noticed he will get good food and good bed only for him. He could watch all the nominations and he was the last one to nominate.

There was another prize for him, to win salvation or Veto, the public voted in the app and with 65% Veto option won. He could cancell the nomination of a housemate and he chose Candelas.

Nominations:

Miguel: 3-Bárbara, 2-Pablo, 1-Candelas
Bárbara: 3-Miguel, 2-Fernando, 1-Montse
Álvaro: 3-Miguel, 2-Candelas, 1-Meritxell
Candelas: Did not nominate
Noelia: 3-Pablo, 2-Meritxell, 1-Bárbara
Pablo: 3-Miguel, 2-Clara, 1-Adara
Beatriz: 3-Pablo, 2-Candelas, 1-Alain
Adara: 3-Candelas, 2-Pablo, 1-Meritxell
Alain: 3-Miguel, 2-Adara, 1-Pol
Montse: 3-Candelas, 2-Meritxell, 1-Alain
Meritxell: 3-Clara, 2-Adara, 1-Noelia
Fernando: 3-Bárbara, 2-Rodrigo, 1-Meritxell
Clara: 3-Meritxell, 2-Pablo, 1-Candelas
Rodrigo: 3-Candelas, 2-Meritxell, 1-Fernando
Pol: 3-Candelas, 2-Montse, 1-Alain

Candelas: 18
Meritxell: 12
Miguel: 12
Pablo: 12

Bárbara: 7
Adara: 5
Clara: 5
Alain: 3
Fernando: 3
Montse: 3
Rodrigo: 2
Noelia: 1
Pol: 1
Álvaro: 0
Beatriz: 0

Candelas, Meritxell, Miguel and Pablo are up for eviction next week.

In the studio, Laura with her two boxes, and Cris with his four boxes opened their boxes and none of them won the extra life.

Nope, I think you just interpreted it wrong. Yeah we were very tired of Mercedes, because she was not doing the show as before, during GH14 she was really pathetic. (in my opinion). Maybe we hated her for some time after all (?) :)

Last week Gala is well resumed here:
http://wiki.worldofbigbrother.com/pmwiki.php/Spain/GH17-News03

Although the voting was froze and Meritxell and Candelas were saved and the lines were opened between Miguel and Pablo.

Last week was actually a civil war between the big group agains the minority. In the beginning, the minority group was formed by Bárbara, Adara, Candelas and Meritxell but since Sunday-Monday Candelas and Meritxell were changing their minds after a discussion between Montse and Bárbara where this one called Montse slut and this kind of stuff (she said this things to her because Montse is always talking about sex, pennis, vaginas, how sexual she is and bla bla bla). Candelas and Meritxell thought that Bárbara crossed the line with that argument but instead talking to her and express their opinions they talked to the other group and the other group took this chance to get two new potential alies.

Last sunday Bárbara was leading the eviction voting:

But the constant fights, isolation and margination towards Adara and Bárbara and also the potential betrayal of Candelas to Bárbara, made Bárbara's % decresead.

The other big topic in the house is all surrounding Adara and Pol as they are the firs official couple. Since some days ago, Miguel is touching and playing with Pol in a way that makes Adara suspicious and jealous. She thinks that it migh turns into Miguel falling in love with Pol and Pol could feel something more for Miguel than for her. There's a point where Adara told his worries to Pol and he got mad and told this to his friends and they said Adara was crazy as Miguel and Pol are only friends since the beginning. But what they don't know is that Miguel said in the DR that he's starting to feeling something more than a friendship for Pol. This made all Pol's friend go against Adara, speacially Beatriz and Rodrigo who are in constant arguments with Adara.

Last Tuesday, every housemate had to choose a nominated housemate that they want out and all the housemates except Alain and Adara choose Bárbara and she tried to defend herself but Meritxell and Candelas didn't move a finger and it was Adara who did it.

Last night, in the Gala, there was a change in the vote, the one who was leading the voting during the week was the second with most votes.
Meritxell then was saved and the lines re-opened between Candelas and Bárbara.

Finally CANDELAS was evicted with 52,7% of the votes. Bárbara surprisingly survived. When she came back the housemates were confused and upset and their faces were gold for tv. :D :D

Then the task to get a place in the Club was held and Beatriz was the one who won it. As the rules says, only three housemates are allowed to stay in the Club and the new member would evict one from there. Beatriz chose Bárbara to leave the Club. The three members of the club won the right to nominate an extra housemates at the end of the nominations.

Nominations:

Clara: Adara (3), Bárbara (2), Meri (1)
  Noelia: Bárbara (3), Alain (2), Fernando (1)
  Meritxell: Adara (3), Bárbara (2), Fernando (1)
  Miguel: Bárbara (3), Adara (2), Alain (1)
  Adara: Rodrigo (3), Miguel (2), Beatriz (1)
  Rodrigo: Bárbara (3), Adara (2), Montse (1)
  Bárbara: Rodrigo (3), Miguel (2), Beatriz (1)
  Montse: Adara (3), Bárbara (2), Pol (1)
  Alain: Miguel (3), Adara (2), Noelia (1)
  Beatriz: Montse (3), Alain (2), Adara (1)
  Fernando: Montse (3), Bárbara (2), Noelia (1)
  Pol: Bárbara (3), Montse (2), Noelia (1)

Bárbara: 20
Adara: 16
Montse: 9

Miguel: 7
Rodrigo: 6
Alain: 5
Noelia: 3
Beatriz: 2
Fernando: 2
Meritxell: 1
Pol: 1
Clara: 0

The three members of the club were about to chose Noelia or Alain as the extra nominee but Jorge Javier reminded to Bea the fact that she said she wanted to face eviction with Adara and then she autonominated herself. So the housemates who are up for eviction this week are Bárbara (20), Adara (16), Montse (9) and Beatriz (Nominated).
