Hopefully this year a female contestant will win. There were pretty good female singers last season, but the 2 worst made it to the final, so I wasn't shocked that they finished 4th and 5th.

BTW, there are new rules this season, and the public is going to make the nominations. Then the jury, the teachers and the contestants will save one each and the last contestant will be evicted (Source: http://www.modernghana.com/movie/7904/3/season-3-of-mtn-project-west-africa-fame-is-set-to.html)

I don't like the new rules. I'm not a big fan of the public making the nominations. That is what it was made in Spain, and that was the least watched season

On today's episode, it was revealed the 24 semifinalists. 18 of them will be chosen for tomorrow's live show and only 15 will be in the Academy.

You can watch the 24 semifinalists here:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYyhmmG_8B8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYyhmmG_8B8</a>

Out of the 24 semifinalists, 3 are from Ghana, 2 from Liberia, 1 from Sierra Leone and 18 from Nigeria, so we'll have a huge majority from Nigeria again.

My favourite is Temipote from Lagos, she is amazing. I also like the lady in green from Abuja and Tomiwa from Kaduna. The level this year is pretty good, I like almost everyone

The eviction show was yesterday. However, the jury decided to give them another "week of grace" in the Academy, so there no-one was evicted.

I don't know why they decided that, they said that everyone but Rhoda, Tolu and Adebola had a better performance on the Opening Night, and then they saved all of them  :-\.

Videos from the last Live Show:

PART 1: Yetunde, Eyo, Joecelia, Shehu, Modele, Tolu, Rhoda and Lindsey
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHBJtc6F00I" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHBJtc6F00I</a>

PART 2: Samuel, Adebola, Monica, Gold and Kesse
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxbYMRO0Vy8" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxbYMRO0Vy8</a>

PART 3: Chidinma, Helen, Vwede, Christian and Ochuko
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW0ZW1tng6A" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW0ZW1tng6A</a>

For me Rhoda, Kesse and Tolu are definitely the TOP3 this year, they are really good. Joecelia and Christian were pretty good this week, and I know Chidinma can do better than this. Monica is by far the worst this year, I can't understand why they put her in the Academy

Finally, Gold and Lindsey were the first 2 evicted from the Academy

Gold, Joecelia, Lindsey, Modele and Shehu were in the BOTTOM 5 this week. Modele was saved by the jury and Joecelia by the teachers. Then the contestants voted:

OCHUKO = Lindsey
CHRISTIAN = Lindsey
TOLU = Shehu
MONICA = Lindsey
CHIDINMA = Gold
EYO = Gold
RHODA = Lindsey
HELEN = Shehu
ADEBOLA = Lindsey
VWEDE = Shehu
KESSE = Gold
SAMUEL = Shehu
YETUNDE = Shehu

Gold: 3 - EVICTED
Lindsey: 5
Shehu: 5

There was a tie between Lindsey and Shehu, so there was a new vote:

OCHUKO = Lindsey
CHRISTIAN = Shehu
TOLU = Shehu
MONICA = Shehu
CHIDINMA = Shehu
EYO = Shehu
RHODA = Shehu
HELEN = Shehu
ADEBOLA = Lindsey
VWEDE = Shehu
KESSE = Shehu
SAMUEL = Shehu
YETUNDE = Shehu

Lindsey: 2 - EVICTED
Shehu: 11

After this round, in which many changed their votes, Lindsey was evicted with Gold, and Shehu was saved

I'm a bit surprised about the vote. I can't believe Monica was not in the Bottom 5  >:( >:( >:(, and I didn't think that Joecelia, Lindsey and Modele will be there. Joecelia is pretty good, maybe because she is not from Nigeria  ???, and after the huge argument between Lindsey and Modele, I thought they will be a bit more popular. GOld and Shehu are good, but I guess they are a bit boring for the show.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABKfoFO2h0s" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABKfoFO2h0s</a>

Finally tonight, it was revealed the BOTTOM 5: Adebola, Helen, Modele, Rhoda and Samuel.

Rhoda was saved by the jury  ;D, Adebola by the teachers and finally Helen by the contestants, so Modele and Samuel were evicted.

I feel really bad for Rhoda, it wasn't her best night, but she didn't deserve to be in the BOTTOM5. I can't believe Monica is that popular, she was better this week, but she should be out last week  >:(. This week was the worst so far, hopefully tomorrow will be better

Last Saturday, Shehu and Monica  ;D were evicted.

Adebola, Monica, Rhoda, Shehu and Vwede were in the Bottom 5. Rhoda was saved again by the jury  ;D, Adebola by the teacers and finally Vwede was saved by the contestants:

EYO = Vwede
YETUNDE = Vwede
JOECELIA = Vwede
KESSE = Vwede
OCHUKO = Vwede
TOLU = Shehu
HELEN = Vwede
CHRISTIAN = Vwede
CHIDINMA = Vwede

Monica = 0
Shehu = 1
Vwede = 8

So Monica and Shehu were evicted.

On Sunday it was Soft Rock and Soul Night, and here are the videos:

PART 1: Adebola, Yetunde, Eyo, Joecelia, Kesse and Rhoda
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnwGTTuudVc" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnwGTTuudVc</a>

PART 2: Vwede, Tolu, Helen, Chidinma, Ochuko, Christian
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50pnch0G3DY" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50pnch0G3DY</a>

Kesse was amazing, he is definitely the best this season. Helen and Vwede were the worst.

I don't know who was evicted tonight  :-\

Last Monday morning, the contestants were evacuated from the Academy due to a fire incident.

According to the producers the crew members noticed a minor fire, late Sunday. But what started as a little ball soon turned into huge flames as extinguishers failed to contain the fire. The studio for Project Fame was badly hit and invaluable equipment lost to the inferno.

Although all the material lost, it was announced that the show will countinue as scheduled. However there won't be daily shows during this week, only the eviction and the Live Show on Sunday

The contestants are still in a hotel in Lagos. I don't think if they will return to the Academy, and if the Academy survive to the fire

After the devastating fire incident, the show was moved to Rapid Blue Studio, also in Lagos (Nigeria).

Today it was the 4th Eviction Show. Christian, Helen, Ochuko, Rhoda and Vwede were in the BOTTOM 5 this week. Rhoda, for the 3rd time, was saved by the jury, Ochuko by the teachers and finally Christian by the contestants, so Helen (from Liberia) and Vwede (from Nigeria) were evicted tonigh.

I don't think they will add more videos to youtube, so it'll be really hard to watch the next shows  :'(

And here you have a new about what happen with the contestants at the moment of the fire:

"The ruins of what used to be the venue of Ultima studios (producers of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Project Fame West Africa) was seen after the horrific fire disaster that occurred on Sunday night. Thankfully, no life was lost and all contestants are hale and hearty. The show must go on…

Adora caught up with some of the contestants. Helen was on her way to take her ginger tea in the garden when she discovered the fire. Her lost voice was restored as she screamed “FIRE” and that was how the contestants were saved!

Chidinma was engrossed with scoring her songs, her ear piece on and volume loud. Seeing Rhoda fly out of the bed, she followed immediately sensing danger. Kesse was in the music room with Christian when the alarm came. Kesse lost his guitar. Tolu was in the shower, not with the slightest clue what was going on…thank God he was alert. Eyo was scoring his song and ran at the sound of the alarm. He battled with Ochuko to put out the fire. Realizing it was a lost battle and overwhelmed, they aided the evacuation process and ran for their lives.

The contestants are all excited that six weeks later they are still on with the feeling. Kesse even told everyone he is fine in his local dialect.

 For Chidinma, she is glad that she has been able to find her voice, Helen’s worst experience was the loss of her voice. Kesse’s best moment is his rendition of Asa’s song; Eyo’s best moment was the duet with Kesse.

It’s challenging for them to learn dance steps, move on stage, thrill the audience and put in something extra, but they are up for it.  Tolu and Kesse are ready to step up their game and stay on top. As for the dance routine, it’s not easy but they have learnt to cope and flow.

“Ain’t no stopping us, no stopping, no one does it better….Project Fame What A feeling!” Those were lyrics of the 12 contestants as they sang and dance, all excited.

The heat was INTENSE, the result IMMENSE …the feeling, fun and fever still continues."

The videos are finally back, and here you can see the first daily show after the fire. The Academy was also destroyed by the fire, and you can see how it's now in this video:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1zprNS9iWs" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1zprNS9iWs</a>

Also there is an interview with Chidinma, Helen and Rhoda

The housemates are now in a hotel, and they will be there until the end

Rhoda was finally evicted tonight  :'(, after 4 weeks in the Bottom 5. The other evicted contestants was Joecelia, the only contestant from Sierra Leone.

Adebola, Joecelia, Ochuko, RHoda and Yetunde were in the Bottom 5 this week. Yetunde was saved by the jury, Ochuko was saved again by the teachers and finally Adebola was saved by the contestants, so Joecelia and Rhoda were evicted this week.

A summary from the last weeks of competition.

On 11th September, Christian decided to leave the show due to health problems. Due to this, there was a single eviction that week, and Adebola was evicted. Adebola, Ochuko, Tolu and Yetunde were in the BOTTOM4. Ochuko was saved by the jury, Tolu by the teachers and Yetunde by the contestants.

After it the public started to vote the winner between Eyo, Tolu, Ochuko, Chidinma, Kesse and Yetunde. Finally CHIDINMA was named as the winner of PROJECT FAME SEASON 3. She is the first female to win it.

Kesse, the only finalist from Ghana, finished in 2nd place, Eyo in 3rd place and Yetunde in 4th place. Tolu and Ochuko finished in 5th and 6th place, but I don't know the order
