Out in the back yard the coaches pick their houseguests. Just before this, Janelle and Mike agreed Willie was Russell Hantz's brother and both said they didn't want to pick him.

By a random draw, Britney is first. The order is then reversed.

Britney - Shane
Mike - Frank
Janelle - Wil
Dan - Kara
Dan - Danielle
Janelle - Ashley
Mike - Ian
Britney - Willie (he was super pissed he was picked this late. Get over yourself. ::) ::) ::))
Britney - JoJo
Mike - Jenn
Janelle - Joe
Dan automatically gets Jodi.

So overall we have:
Britney - JoJo, Shane and Willie
Dan - Danielle, Jodi and Kara
Janelle - Ashley, Joe and Wil
Mike - Frank, Ian and Jenn

For the first HoH competition, the coaches did not compete. The coach of the winning team decides the HoH for their team. The coach of the team in last has to evict one of their team. The competition was to jump on big beds and collect three bears, bring them back and then turn on a light at the opposite end.

Team Britney (JoJo, Willie and Shane) finished the challenge first, followed by Team Janelle (Wil, Ashley and Joe) and Team Mike (Frank, Ian, Jenn). Team Dan (Kara, Danielle and Jodi) finish the competiton last and therefore Dan has to choose to evict either Danielle, Kara or Jodi from the house.

Britney chose Willie to be the first HoH of the season. Dan chose to evict Jodi and therefore Jodi is the first houseguest to be evicted from the house.

According to the teasers for the following episodes, looks like there's a "new power" entering the house. Looks like an updated PoV.

So with Jodi gone that leaves 11 houseguests - so the jury will start in two weeks? There HAS to be more to this than we see.  ;)

I saw the episode , and what a stupid twist to have Jodi be evicted so soon , whats the point of evicting someone before we get to know them at all?

Also why the returning players AGAIN? :O why not just have another all stars? Cos now another all stars will seem stupid as they've had 3 seasons out of the last 4 with at least one returnee?

Spoiler for Hiden:
The live feed started and Ian talked to the live feed watchers, and Kara and Frank are nominated for eviction. Ian also says he fell "ass backwards into [an] exemption" so that could possibly be the new power?

Apparently Frank is the target this week. Mike has said he wants Frank and Jenn safe (so he doesn't care about Ian). Mike says he wants to work with Willie.

Also we know that Willie, Frank, Kara, Wil and Shane will be playing for the PoV along with another we don't know yet.

Janelle has also confirmed there is a "coach's suite" room.

It's pretty obvious right now it's Janelle/Britney vs. Mike/Dan.

LMAO! Britney, Janelle, JoJo and Kara are talking about when Mike had a genital wart removed on national television and Janelle brought up the embezzlement sex scandal he's going through. :D

I hated this first episode. this twist is one of the most stupid ever - something thats a recreation of everything thats been seen so far (returning HGs, cliques etc) and of course the only clear female team was bound to lose this competition. also hated that there's been an eviction so early on and that my fav was the vicitm of that.
am not too impressed by what might come up next. jeeez - worst kick-off of BB US ever  :-X

I did watch the launch. It was okay.

I'm going to root for Ian, and I like Jojo, and Jenn/Ashley too. Wil is starting to annoy me. I think he improvises way too hard to be a stereotype.

And . . . . .

Another former housemates has been arrested for assault: Drew from BB5

http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/big_brother_5/2012_Jul_12_drew-arrested

So,
Adam's in jail, and Matty had similar charges, as well as assault charges
Mike Boogie was arrested for assault.
Now Drew has been arrested. That's three winners. Who's next?

The veto winner is...

And at the moment it looks like...

Spoiler for Hiden:
Kara is going home.

Spoiler for Hiden:
Eliminate Kara on the principle is kinda stupid. Frank is much more agile and strong in challenges than she. Not to mention Dan's team already has one less, would be a great chance to evict someone from the Mike's team, especially if dealing of the strongest player of his team.

I totally Agree with You.
But good news!!!  ;D ;D

Spoiler for Hiden:
KARA HAD CHANCES! Joe was liying and tell Janie that Frank and Jenn told him that if Frank 'ill be going HoH, he put up Willie and Shane. This change the mind of Janie and Brit, and all of the Hgs from TeamBrit and TeamJanie. Now, the plan is Keep Kara, and evict Frank. But they blindside them. They going to tell Kara that they will be evict her and Frank that they will be save him. For now, Kara HAD CHANCES! #GOKARA #TEAMKARA♥

But things can change to thuersday! ::)

Danielle's accent drives me crazy. Joe's accent is much worse.

My favourites are Ashley, Jojo, and Jenn, but they don't show them that very much. Too bad Ian is so crazy, I was kind of rooting for him. I think he might be able to pull off a first nomination if he keeps his cool. I also like Kara & Frank, and wish neither of them were on the block. I'm already sick of Hantz 3.0.

Here's my rank with gaps:

1. JoJo
2. Ashley
3. Jenn

4. Ian

5. Frank
6. Kara

7. Shane

8. Willie

9. Wil
10. Danielle
11. Joe

Oh, i remember why i HATE Britney...

Spoiler for Hiden:
Britney is so paranoic and now want to get ride of Kara, because she saw Janelle, Kara and Daniele talking together. Well. It's obviusly, if Brit betrays Janelle. She is done.

Yesterday....

Spoiler for Hiden:
Shane decided not to use the veto

Also...

Spoiler for Hiden:
The house is flip-flopping on who should be evicted. Joe tried to convince Janelle that evicting Frank is best but when I last checked they were set on evicting Kara, then Frank and now apparently it's Kara again. Janelle has shown why she has yet to win the show - she's not playing with her head at all. She's worried about Dan when she should be worried about Mike.

Jodi began tweeting from the twitter account verified to belong to her shortly after the premier aired, so she wasn't sequestered. :-\

Britney, Britney, Britney....Alwais 'll manipulate for a men. Tell me she is a good mentor? her teammatte said what to do to her. And why she is a good mentor? for winning competitions? i think Adam 'll be a Best mentor than She. Seryously, this remember me BB12. and if Kara goes we have the Brigade 2.0

Spoiler for Hiden:
JAnelle wants to keep Kara so much, but DUMBEST britney want her out. Please! IT'S KARA! I love her, but she's a weak girl and didn't 'll be a threat.

Frank is obviously a much bigger threat than Kara, I just have no idea whatsoever why people are contemplating keeping him?
