I don't like very much U.S. version of BB! ::)
I think the public NEED TO CHOSE THE EVICTEES AND THE WINNER!

If I had my way, more countries would have BB similar to the US version. I think it's better. Big Brother in the US would certainly not have lasted as long as it has keeping to the public vote way of choosing evictees and winners.

I just think that's because in the US the first really big reality show was Survivor, in which the contestants vote each other off, so everybody got accostumed to see that. I think the same thing happened in Argentina/Spain, where the first really big reality show was Gran Hermano with the public voting and now the realities where the contestants vote are not that popular.

I agree, it seems that in every country only one system really survives. same as with the Idol vs. X Factor format. I am really glad that the US stick with the format - I just don't like the exectuion (Grodner!) anymore. Its way too manipulated and you always have to take the twists with a grain of salt. I think its fairly obvious that not everyone has the same shot in this game. Let's hope BB Canada can show us how the show might work w/o all those kind of things mentioned above (hoping and praying).
I also fear we will have a season with 18+ HGs now and A LOT of vets in it (that would suck). somehow like a "Fans vs. Favourites" season.

I watched a few seasons (BB6, BB8, BB11, BB12, BB13, I don't finished BB9 & BB14, I love BB6-BB8-BB11-BB13) and I actually like how they do it in the U.S., I found it pretty entertaining (not all the times, but it's very good) and everyone has a shot of winning the prize. I don't think they would've had more seasons in the U.S. if they stayed with the original format as in the first season.

Kinda agree with all those who said that it's better to retain the format as it is like survivor. US is one of the countries who loves to see the contestants fight to death with each other in order to win the game rather than a public-dictated series, which, in contrary is a big hit in almost other countries (including the Philippines. ;) and Asia). I think, the people from US are the only people who can do it rightly and authentically. ;D

OMG! I love BB US....and i love the US format, thanks for the format, i've know my favorite housemate of ALL THE WORLD: Queen Janelle Pierzina. The only thing i hate is the production, I HATE Allison Grodner :mad, she think the BB House is her doll house and she manipulate sometimes.

I think this extended season will be a Second chances season (Jodi & Kara back plzzz) or an ALL STARS season ;D (Queen Janie need play her ultimate BB, and win it). Knowing Grodner is (almost) impossible that in this extended season the players will ALL newbies.

SHUT UP, GO MAKE SOME RICE

Well, I hope it is either a full all star season, or a season with unknown people but with some casting twist (enemies, friends, family members, or whatever). :)

I'm soooo excited to have BB back and I'll make my summer course schedule to never clash with any time slot so I'll be able to watch every single episode. Hopefully, the producers take advantage of this extended series and finally they give us 18-20 HMs in a single season and twists that are reasonable for such an amount as well as NO MORE RETURNING HMs. That's all.
:) Live happy every day!!! <3

I might be pretending to not be Dan from BB10 & 14 until the revealing of the correct secret.  ;)

Not sure how significant this is but CBS are ending their agreement with RealNetworks SuperPass and hosting the live feeds this summer themselves at cbs.com.   Now it might be little more than a behind the scenes move, but I do worry the change could lead to their live feeds no longer being available worldwide and we can add BBUSA to the list of geoblocked versions.

Great news that BBUS 15 will have 15 new house guests and no previous players.

Excited for the thought of no returnees. They are going to be in good shape if they can out-do Survivor & at least perform close to Canada's standards.

I'll believe it when I see it as technically the "casting" is always for new players anyway.   Returnees won't go through the casting process.

Really hope the show finally goes HD this year - it's the last SD show standing and that's an even bigger priority IMO than all new players or revamping the house.
