Tonight there has been the first fight for the bed between Tully and Mikkayla, who seriously I don't like. I think it was  a fight basing on nothing.

I find Tim and Heidi very funny. they seem like a perfect couple, it could be like Benjamin and Stacey last year, but Tim is straight ::).

Ed is mysterious, while I like Matthew but not so much Caleb.

And Surly is back, yay

So far I don't really dislike any of the HMs. Tim is really irritating...but for the time being entertaining, IMO. I really can't put these HMs in any order. The fake couple is nice though, both of them. I wouldn't want either Drew or Jade go first. Or any time soon. Also above average for me are Heidi, Xavier, Tully and Caleb.

For the rest of them...I'm not sure. Still early days though...everything can change.
Lost a planet Master Obi Wan has. How embarrassing.

Mikkayla in everyone's mouth, as it should be

Tully confides in Ed that she finds Mikkayla’s public gossiping and know-it-all-ness awkward.

She says Mikkayla talks over people all the time, and never seems interested in hearing what people have to say in return.

Ed agrees that Mikkayla’s comments and shouting make him feel uncomfortable at times too.

When Jade wanders over to see what's going on, Tully spills her story again.

every decent person on Australia will vote to save Mikkayla if she's nominated because she's a good example for today's kids and transmits good values

LOL

the girl is an English teacher that on her first day of class her students indicated her the way to the Japanese class, JAPANESE CLASS, not Chinese, and she's South-Korean! Just for that she deserves immunity until the F5.

PD: SHE SMELLS BOOK, SHE SMELLS BOOK, I can imagine her smelling her pupils textbooks and just for the smell knowing if they made the homework or not

I love that they decided to bring a show like Friday Night Live this year  ;D, although I didn't like the new host

MATTHEW won the first Saturday Showdown. He won $5000, a night in the Presidential Suite (with Callum) and a special power for the nominations

While Sonia hosts the live show, Shelley Craft hosts the pre-recorded highlights of "Big Brother Showdown" on a Saturday.

Mike Goldman and Michael Beveridge (from Big Brother 9) (:-X) also comment on the matches. In the arena, the housemates had to divide into teams of seven.

Orange team - Drew, Xavier, Jasmin, Tim, Sharon, Heidi and Jade.
Purple team -  Ben, Matthew, Ed, Mikkayla, Tully, Caleb and Tahan.

One person will win 'three significant prizes':
- Spending the night in the Presidential Suite with a housemate of their choice.
- $5,000 cash.

The third prize was not revealed to the house at this stage, but was revealed to the viewers. The winner will receive the 'nominations superpower' we saw work in the show last year.

In the first round "Get a Grip", Jade of the orange team and Tahan of the purple team were suspended above a tank of water. The rules were simple - the first team to let their representative fall into the water would lose and be eliminated. Whenever Big Brother decides, he will announce that one member of each team has to let go of the rope they are using to hold their representative above the water.

Eventually after Drew and Matthew are left, Drew drops Jade into the tank filled with eels. Big Brother then says that Jade deserves another chance for having an 'eel bath' so she joins the winning team in the next round.

Moving on to round two were Ben, Matthew, Ed, Mikkayla, Tully, Caleb, Tahan and Jade. They then had to divide into two groups of four.

Orange team - Tahan, Jade, Matthew and Mikkayla.
Purple team - Ed, Tully, Ben and Caleb.

In the second round the teams had to collect letters to complete words that answered a category, first starting with a, then b, then c. Two were blindfolded and handed letters to a person who balanced on a beam and then set the letters on a board. The blindfolded people were lead by Tahan and Tully, who directed them to letters. The categories were band, kitchen item and a foreign city.

The orange team of Tahan, Jade, Matthew and Mikkayla won this round and move on to the final round. In the final round the four housemates were for some reason wrapped up in clingfilm, and the three that stood up first would be the three that moved on to the final round. Matthew, Tahan and Jade are the three that move on to the final round.

In the final round, the remaining housemates had to build the highest tower in three minutes. It is here that Big Brother tells them that the winner will receive the nominations superpower.

Matthew wins the competition and wins a night in the Presidential Suite, $5,000 and the nominations superpower for this week. In the diary room, Matthew chooses to spend the night in the Presidential Suite with Caleb.

Big Brother: Melbourne's Housemates

So 7 of the 14 currently in there are from one city.

FNL 2.0 was even worse than FNL 1.0 - just nothing redeeming about it at all, and a real shame that they're not actually giving it a point and using it to determine who lives where.  It's the same pointless prizes it's always been.
