So it's the second episode, and we meet the two 'newlyweds' that entered yesterday night, on Day 2.
Jade is 22 from Ballina, New South Wales. She is a model and currently works at a pub. Her model work started in Italy and are normally always bikini or swimsuit work. She moved back to Australia from Italy, where she was born and where her dad lives and works.
Jade doesn't enter on the stage, but we first see her enter the safehouse diary room, where she talks to Big Brother. Big Brother tells her to wait in the diary room for a bit.
Drew is 24 and a chemical engineering student from Melbourne. He's 'not a hipster, not a gym rat, not a nerd'. His love of his life is his car. He is however single and can't see himself being married in the next five years.
Drew enters the diary room where he first meets Jade. Big Brother handles the introduction and tells them he has chosen the two of them to attempt the biggest challenge in the twelve years of Big Brother. Big Brother tells them he will open the diary room door in a few minutes and will introduce them to the housemates as a married couple. Big Brother gives them some rings that were left in the diary room and tells them that they decide how they met, where they met and where they live.
They decide they have been married for two months, met in Italy when Drew was backpacking, and live in Ballina and married on the beach. Big Brother tells them that if any housemate comes to the diary room and believes they are faking their marriage in the next week, they will be automatically nominated. Should they pass, they will be immune from the first nominations.
After they enter and everyone fusses over them for a short while, Big Brother announces the 'honeymoon suite' is open. Drew and Jade get a special bedroom and while they are in there alone, Big Brother tells them that the double bed separates into two.
Sonia crosses live to the house, to tell them about a part of the show called 'showdown'. The housemates will compete at the weekend in a series of games and challenges in the arena. The winner will receive privileges, including access to a room called the Presidential Suite.
Sonia then reveals the three new people that will enter the house soon:
- Rohan is in a relationship and thinks he's really smart and he says he's 'a product of his generation'.
- Katie and Lucy are twin sisters that get judged on their 'blonde hair...fake eyelashes' but 'there's definitely more to them'. As there are to be 16 housemates, I assume Katie and Lucy will count as one housemate.
