Big Brother Canada has begun casting for its second season, with hopeful houseguests able to apply online or at open audition venues.
From today, Canadian citizens who are aged 19 years or over by February 1st can fill out an application form at the show’s official casting website – and either upload a video, or choose an audition date to attend.
The open calls will take place later this year at the following venues:
Vancouver, British Columbia – September 8 at Metropolis at Metrotown
Edmonton, Alberta – September 14 at West Edmonton Mall
Halifax, Nova Scotia – September 20 at Halifax Shopping Centre
St. John’s, Newfoundland – September 21 at Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland
Montreal, Quebec – September 27 at Le Centre Montreal Sheraton
Toronto, Ontario – October 19 at John Bassett Theatre
“With an astounding 10,000 Canadians having auditioned for season one, we know there is a huge desire from fans across the country to participate in this legendary series,” said Barbara Williams, senior VP of content for Shaw Media, parent company of the show’s broadcaster Slice.
“Season one of Big Brother Canada was a blockbuster with an engaging, dynamic and entertaining cast. We look forward to discovering a new crop of Canadian houseguests that will blow people away with more scheming, more drama, more romance and more surprises than ever before,” added executive producer John Brunton.
