wow what a shameless way of manipulating the outcome. its really hilarious how a person can drop from no. 2 at the beginning of the show to the bottom. I really hate how they're rigging on this edition ::)

There are rumours going on, that the format here would be released for competitive bidding next year. Although these rumours are not from a very reliable source, pretty much all of the Finnish fans are hoping they would turn out to be true. Then there would be a chance of getting a whole new production team, with fresh ideas. It seems like the current team don't really care about anything else but the money anymore.

I really hope they don't keep this "new" voting format because I really want Marika to win as Petri comes off as kind of a douche and I don't really care for Niko. Finland is kind of the oddity when it comes to Scandinavian BBs as it has lasted so long on it's own (typically Expedition Robinson is the big show in the Scandinavian countries) and I would hope that after six seasons the producers haven't given up completely on the show.

Matt: unfortunately they will keep the turbovote-system. At least until thursday. Not sure about the last few days though...but I'm pretty sure, this system will be utilised until the end of the season.

And now I'll return to the record-setting again: by surviving tomorrow, Marika would have survived 12 evictions. This would touch the international record, that Jetmir set in BB3 Albania. Furthemore, the season in Albania was a couple of weeks longer than it is here.

Marika has not yet survived, but I'll eat my hat if she's not in the final 4.

well who knows with this stupid and absurd turbovoting. I mean Elisabetha went from 2nd to bottom in just a few minutes. what the producers want does happen  ::)

As she ended up from top spot down to No.4 says something, there is a chance she may go, but who really knows

The difference between Elisabet and Marika is, that Elisa really didn't have any realistic chance of winning whereas Marika is on the top of most betting lists. It's extremely unlikely, that we'd have an all-male finale. Noora is really not going to the final.

Also...this week is different. They don't have time to advertise who's getting the eviction votes and who save votes every 10 minutes. This is another reason, why I believe Marika is safe. On Monday she was in the bottom 2, but after that she's been in the TOP 2.

Nevertheless...some people here are convinced, that the winner has already been decided. And the winner would be Niko.

It feels like this season has been a big joke. All the ingredients of a top season were there, but the producers didn't use them right.

From what the website is stating at the moment it looks like Eetu and Noora are goners. By the way, Antos can you tell me why in your language you sometimes add letters to names? I know this is random, but I've been wondering about it for a while.

I'll just explain with examples, and hope I understood your question correctly. The letters are the equivalents of prepotitions in most other languages. Ie. Marikan = Marika's, Marikalle = to/for Marika, Marikasta = of/about Marika. In addition, these examples are as is. With other contexts they may vary. For example "Marikan hyväksi" can be translated as "for Marika".

And then an unrelated comment:

It seems like the final 4 could quite possibly be Nino, Niko, Marika and Elisabet.
3 out of 4, not bad. And also kinda goes to show, how unpredictable BB is here.

Also, this is the first time there's only 1 HM, who's been in the house from the launch to the final. Not bad for someone, who's been nominated almost every week.

yes they follow a pattern
2005: male winner
2006: female winner
2007: male winner
2008: female winner
2009: male winner
2010: Marika is the logical choice  ;D

Yep. Pretty much all the reality-shows here follows the same pattern for some reason. Except for Idols, where we had 3 male winners in a row.  :D

And...I really do hope, that the pattern doesn't brake in BB this year.  ;)

I wonder if there is any BB Series with more female winners than male winners?

BB Mexico is an example of that and probably the only one in which in all of its series a female housemate has won, the only exception happened on Big Brother VIP 3-Part I where a male housemate won.
:) Live happy every day!!! <3

In BB Sweden, there were 4 female winners out of 5 - Angelica was not only winner of BB1 Sweden, but also was the first ever female winner of any BB. Anki won a special "celebrity" version of the show, Ulrica won BB2 Sweden and Carolina won BB4 Sweden.

Also in BB Norway, Leena won a special version of BB for a place in the next season, Veronica was the winner of that season ;D and Eva Lill won BB3.

Funnily enough both Scandinavian series...

About Petri...I really don't get, why he was so popular. In my eyes he didn't really give anything in the sense of entertainment. He just hang around, mostly. Even when he scored with the girls he did, the girls really delivered the entertainment.

And I will. Send some save-votes for Marika. The last time I voted was in season 3. In the final for Kadi.  :)

BTW...for the first time in the history of BB Finland the DR was shown in the live feed, while the HMs were in. Twice. I just hope, that this would mean live nominations for next year.
