I really cannot wait for this series to start. The more recent Spanish seasons were all really interesting - there were good twists and there was always something going on. I think I could easily say that Gran Hermano 11 was my favourite edition worldwide.

That advert with Mecerdes' fingers is really weird, but so creative. :D

I agree. Spain put a lot of efforts in keeping their show interesting over the years and always delivered good twists. hope this season is no difference.

"Gran Hermano 12", the season of future will start on Sunday 17th October.

The season will be the most ambitious and the housemates will mad the reality from the day 0.

The house will be the biggest of all reality shows in Spain: 1,000 square meters. Moreover, it is divided in different rooms and atmospheres with a futuristic decoration. That's why the technical team have been increased in a 20% and the house has been redesigned. The GH11 cameras (62) are going to be 80 in this season.

The logo and the opening has been modified and they are more modern.

The housemates will have between 18 and 40 y.o. One of them has been chosen by Facebook. They are very different and the majority come from North and Center of Spain. Furthermore, a lot of pregnant housemates have participated in the auditions.

The studio have the same house's aesthetics: futuristic in a lunar scenery with craters and light balls.

A new housemate of GH12 has the same name that one of the housemates that were in the debate last night. Does It happens for the first time in "Big Brother"?

I think that he/she can be Marta López, Ángel Muñoz, Sandra Crespo or Gemma Guzmán.

In addition, we met some places from the housemates are.

No offense to Mercedes, but age hasn't been as kind to her as it has to some of the other older BB hosts.

or maybe bottox just hasn't touched her face?  ::)
she looks okay to me- she turns 60 next year and looks like a woman her age (I only dislike this outfit). its only media that tries to tell us that woman have to look like 30 their entire life (see Nicole Kidman)

its not like Julie Chen would be recoginzed by any of you before she became the BB host:

well she looks obviously LESS asian and MORE western in it, problaby a career step decision. because in the business you need to loke not only young but also not african or asian. its a major proof of the pressure that the media is creating.

Do you mean everywhere? or just in America?

Actually, as odd as it sounds, in America we don't mind the "Asian" look. In fact, at times people actually prefer it because they assume they'll be dealing with someone smarter than the typical caucasian. While this is going off of a stereotype, it is not an uncommon idea here.

The launch is currently happening. I tuned in too late but from what I gathered, there's two houses: a pure white house and the color house.

And Mercedes does not look particularly well (as in the hair and clothes)

As of right now, over 10 housemates had entered. The White house will live like they want, nominations will go as a group and they will have a tremendous power over the colored house, meanwhile, the Colored house will follow different and more strict rules than the other hose.

White house: Chari and all the men.
Colored house: Ruben and all the girls.

Chari and Ruben are an on/off couple.
:) Live happy every day!!! <3

LOL its so cruel that in these twists its always the females that have to suffer. remember all of them and Uwe living in a house full of trash in the beginning of BB Germany?  ;D

Bulgaria might have been the only exception here were the guys had to live in this crashed-plain whereas the girls moved in the luxurious regular house.

Yeah and same for BBUK, in BB4, Anouska (the only bright spark in the house in my opinion) was screwed over with the god awful 1st night noms twist, it was a terrible idea as we lost a great HM very early who could have injected fun into such a dire series. In addition, we lost BB9's Stephanie to an even more ridiculous twist which was also fixed.
