I thought either the percenatges were wrong or there had been a lot of drunk people trying to vote last week  ;D

I'm pleased Terhi is the one evicted. The directors cams seemed to have followed her everywhere these last few days. So maybe other housemates can get some airtime now.

I didn't like the way she reacted to not getting a party on her birthday. I don't recall Ben acting like that when he didn't get a birthday party.

Next one I'd like to see out is Stefan, Sebastian or Matty. Stefan is annoying and the other 2 are boring.

Siv Anita arrives to the house:

They speak in English in the video

What does "Hetkinen" mean? The word has been written on the kitchen cam all day.

Their weekly task this week is to create TV shows. 24/7 live viewers will decide whether the task succeeds or not (there is a vote on the Katsomo stream page).

Hetkinen means "Please Stand By" which means that their weekly task TV station is off air. They did two 30 minute sessions today.

Ben got a party all right. It's only that his birthday was celebrated in Heaven while he was in Hell. >:D They had a cake with his name on it and all...

(Actually, Ben has been ridiculed on the Finnish BB fan forums specifically for talking about his birthday so much, both before and afterwards... He never threw a tantrum about it but he was clearly disappointed and kind of expected he might get something later. As a result of all this talk about Ben's birthday party at least some of the housemates wanted to consider the Mexican-themed party Ben's birthday party which is why he was allowed to break the piñata.)

Next one I'd like to see out is Stefan, Sebastian or Matty. Stefan is annoying and the other 2 are boring.

Sebastian is not going out until the final night, I can promise that much. Even then, he might well be the last remaining HM sitting on the sofa in the empty house. (My bet for the last two housemates is on Sebastian and Janica at the moment. Unless aliens abduct him or he chokes on a carrot or something.)

BTW, during the exchange week (and even before that, but most noticeably during the exchange week and in Siv Anita's presence) Mikael has specifically targeted Sebastian when he's motor-mouthing various jabs and jokes. Sebastian has been silently ignoring it all so far, but he's not too amused any longer... and even Siv Anita has noticed not everything is OK between the two guys:

(The grammatical errors in that transcript are theirs, not mine, for a change... as they were speaking English.)

The HM swap will end on Sunday. Though I'm sure Siv Anita would love to go back home earlier. I don't know whether this was planned or a precautionary extension due to a bacteria, that has spread in the Norwegian house.

Do you mean the HM's are ill or is there something wrong with the house ???

Is Siv Anita not enjoying her time with the Finnish HM's?

There's a bacteria, that causes itching. Nothing more serious than that. Can't remember the name of it. Probably originated from the jacuzzi outside.

I think Siv Anita mostly just misses Andreas, otherwise she seems to enjoy her stay. Mostly. Of course she feels left alone at times, when the Finnish HMs are talking Finnish.

Do you think we are likely to get any new housemates soon?

In previous years the last housemates entered on the following days -

2010 = day 66
2009 = day 55
2008 = day 71
2007 = day 62

This year the last housemates to enter - Rami and Matti - entered on day 48, so during the last 4 years housmeates have entered later.

I don't think it's likely there will be any new housemates. But then again...you never know. Kim Sainio, the head director, said in an interview they wouldn't take any housemates mid-season. Unless the arc of the script require new housemates. At the moment I don't see, it does. I'm kinda cautiously hopeful there won't be any more new housemates.

A small update on Thursday which also touches on this subject (see the couple of previous posts as well if you haven't been following the thread):

Sebastian, Matti, Rami & Tanja are nominated this week.

I don't mind who goes out of these as long as it isn't Rami.

Why was Matti automatically nominated? The official site says rule breaking - what did he do?

Also, who do you think will go tonight. I think we will lose one of the new boys.

According to different news from the official website, he was nominated because he talked about the outside

http://www.bigbrother.fi/uutiset.shtml/1421249/matti-mokasi--puhui-kielletysta-aiheesta

But I guess our Finnish friends can explain this better

And tomorrow a new HM will enter. Possibly a celebrity, the hostesses said the new HM will make mouths drop.

Not quite. He's guaranteed to be through to the final week, but not guaranteed to be through to the final day.

NETTA, who was evicted by Ben in the first weeks, was chosen by the producers to return to the house as a full housemate
