Minna will be coming back in a few hours, during Extra. Also the reason for her illness will be told.

Yes, I just read about it on the official site. I'm glad it wasn't anything that would have prevented her from coming back.

Yeah, I'm also glad she didn't have anything more serious like Harri. I kinda like Minna, even though she's a bit quiet. Seems smart.

Minna is back in the house. Her illness was caused by dehydration.

Also, voting will start on Sunday. But it's not an evidtion vote. The votes will change a HM's life. I don't really have any idea, what it's all about. I'm guessing it has something to do with the 2 cages in the house.

Number 2 could be Ben.
Number 7 is Terhi all right. She was discussing this with her housemates a couple of days ago and even showed the marks, or the piercings, or whatever she has on her back from/for that.

Will she get punished for openly discussing her secret with the other housemates?

Also Oskars secret of being a porn star is hardly a secret given everyone knew about it from day 1.

Probably not. Janica also told very early on her secret of being an erotic dancer.

But...I guess you never know, how the punishments will go this year.

Probably not as it seems they haven't been given any instructions on keeping their "secrets" only to themselves, and yes, that's the strange thing. Once the tagline for this season was announced ("More secrets than ever before") - and the fact that the housemates have "secrets" in the first place - many fans naturally assumed this season would be some combined variation of Endemol's "Big Brother" and "Secret Story" formats. But so far it seems the personal "secrets" of the housemates are only there for some lame quiz competition the viewers can participate.

There are probably other "secrets" hidden in this season's script, though. Or at least the production team has promised they'll introduce some rather interesting twists this year and all is not as it seems at first... but apparently the personal secrets of the housemates are not the primary theme for this season. I know, it's a bit confusing, but maybe this was the plan right from the beginning - it's difficult to say.

This season still looks somewhat promising... so far. At least the production team has reacted much better and more proactively to whatever is going on in the house and we have also got a bit more varied housemates than usual. (This could be due to a key member of the Finnish production team apparently having left Big Brother and an ex-member of the same team having rejoined.)

The housemates are asleep right now (it's 6:15 a.m. here) but last night was pretty good. The housemates succeeded in their weekly task and received their first budget for grocery shopping.

BB did not throw a party for them but they managed to buy, along with the groceries, several six-packs of beer, which helped make the discussions a bit more lively. The housemates were in a happy and relaxed mood and there were lots of funny, informative or entertaining conversations going on all night, almost all of them conducted in good spirit and with lots of jokes and laughter.

I think it's the beginning of an end for the introductory getting-to-know-one-another phase. Now we'll soon switch to the phase two where the housemates are acting more like an established community with known members and different interest groups and power bases. In short, the BBF 2011 house is slowly warming up and the season starts "for real".

During the night, we came to know that Janica, just like Salar, only applied for the show with one primary goal in her mind: winning the big prize. Neither Janica nor Salar sees the experience alone worth it. They're only after the money or the thrill of winning, both envisioning themselves as one of the four finalists.

I don't like that. I see that more as a disadvantage as an advantage. You know he/she is in the final you don't have to fight for save him/her in the nominations, he/she will have the lower votes to win I think  ::)

I think if their going to do that they shouldn't let the winning housemate know (or the other housemates for that matter) that they have immunity until the week of the final. If said housemate is ever nominated then they (the producers) should just act like the housemate survived every eviction they face. I also think that if they're really going the Secret Story route this year the other housemates should be able to guess who has immunity in order to steal it from them. If a housemate guesses incorrectly they could just be automatically nominated for eviction and not allowed to guess again.

I really like this idea. But I'm not a huge fan of given immunity until the final  :-\

Terrible idea. Let's remember that this was done in BBUK Celebrity Hijack and look who got the final pass, the most boring HM and he won it :o

More exactly the winning HM will get a free pass to the final week. If there's an eviction during the final week, then the HM would not be immune anymore. There is that small difference. So...this voting doesn't necessary mean a free pass to the final. Close, but not quite.

I guess most of the voters are females. And there are quite a few strong girls in the house. Half of them are quite boring though. So that might be the other reason.

My favorite still is Stefan. But to be honest, one of the girls are more likely to cause conflicts. Besides Amanda or Minna. I think Suvi has the potential to cause more conflicts than any other HM. For that alone I'd like to see Suvi winning this free ride.

Seems like a guy is going to win this season anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

New HMs will enter on Sunday. How many, will be seen. Also some other twists will be seen. Though...intruders, not a twist. Already seen.

Also the count as of Thursday 19:26pm: Stefan, Mikael, Salar, Tamer, Sebastian

The HMs were told today, they are all up for voting. Then the votes were shown, as they stood at the time. No explanation was given by BB. So...the HMs think they are all up for eviction.

Mikael has won the public vote and will be immune until the final week. The housemates have not been told who has won this vote, but have been told what the vote was for. Stefan came a close second.

I'm guessing in Kaisa's case "vaatemyyjä" means she works in a clothes store. I suppose the translation would be clothing store assistant.

Thanks antos :). I wasn't able to find the translation for it, for some reason it wouldn't translate online. :)
